Yeah, we're signed up with Blockbuster. We get two free in-store rentals a month. I'm going to be using those on 360 games when I can. I picked up COD2 last week and that was about all they had in stock. Every other game was gone except for Tony Hawk.

does the coupon say games? the ones on my account just say good for one VHS or DVD rental. if they accept them that's good, but I guess it can depend on the store.

they are hard to find, unless you live in japan. check out the line in front of your local best buy on sunday, that will give you an idea of how hard they are to find in the US (all best buys are going to have at least 20 or so Sunday morning, first come, first serve)
 
Completed COD2 veteran campaign last night it was certainly a great challenge. Would reccomend this game for the single player alone but have yet to test it out on live.

Wow good accomplishment! I have completed the first 4 missions of the game on normal, but then went back to the beginning, on veteran. I've only beaten the first 2 so far, and holy crap it was tough just those 2 levels. I plan on getting around to the whole campaign on veteran, definitely fun because its so difficult.

Oh and on xbox live its a blast in multiplayer. The interface sucks before you get into a game, but once you are in its great.

I also just sold my final 360 I had on ebay 🙁.

Yeah, I've downloaded the Narnia, MI:3, and X3 trailers. Downloaded and played Wik for a little while last night. It's a pretty trippy little fun game.

I hope and pray that they'll put video and audio codecs up on there for download so that we can start streaming Xvid and Divx through the 360.
 
OK since they locked my thread - I picked up an XBOX 360 at ToysRUs today, but the guy told me it was a "bundle" and you had to buy 4 games with it.

I'm going to send something off to ToysRUs Corporate and see if this is their policy - ticked me off but it was such a pleasure declining the warranty since I spent too much on games.

And I didn't want 4 extra games - I can only really get into 1-2 at a time...and get them online for cheaper than 59.99

With bandwidth unfriendly pic.

Which game should I keep?
 
I would think that even if Toys R Us won't take them, you can return them for store credit at any store that sells XBox 360.

If (when) I get an XBox 360, I'll probably get PGR3 and Condemned. I tried the demo to Q4 on the PC and it sucked, so that's out. Of the ones you got, I'd keep NFS-MW and CoD2.

Have fun with it!
 
wow... that was quick... i placed my order for gamefly on the 13... and I got condemed and kameo today... pretty quick... i mean from cali to virginia in two days is nice turn around for consumers...

Everyone is doing that, bundle only for like $650 or higher.
 
By the way, if you have a system on pre-order still. You arn't going to get it before Christmas. Take the money off and buy something else.

I just got word that my Gamestop (after corp told us that we would get a "huge" shipment in sometime this month) is only getting in 8 systems before the 25th. So the 27+ people that are after them are S.O.L.

I can't wait to go into work tomorrow and get cussed out by ten people before lunch because they were told their systems would be in this month.

Way to f***ing go GameStop.

Well my free copy of NFS:MW came yesterday from the every10minutes sweepstakes.

all I can say is this game is great! it may not be the prettiest game on the system, but it definitely is the funnest racing game on the system IMO. and i've played them all and own PGR3 and now NFS:MW, and I can say NFS:MW is just an all around funner game. too bad my internet at home is out, or else I would be all over live with this one. For now though I'm going to get through single player mode.

yeah... for some reason i am not getting into pgr3... maybe i should look into getting nfs:mw...
