You kind of have to hunt around right now. MS says they are sending out shipments every week but it sounds like some retailers are letting the shipments sit in their distribution centers for later. Target has been selling them as they get them. My wife talked with a Sam's Club manager and he said the 15th. There have been rumors that Best Buy is hoarding 360s for another launch type event on or around the 18th.

I'd probably get PGR3 and COD2 to start out with. PDZ is a good game IMHO but it doesn't seem to be everybody's cup of tea. Same with Kameo. I'd download the demos for Kameo, NFS, and NBA Live 06 from Live Marketplace to see if you like them before you drop $50-$60 on them.

Agreed... Download the demos and see what you think...I personally can't stand NFS, but my kid loves it.

PGR3 is an amazing game. I really, really like PDZ, mostly because of the co-op play. (I'm a sucker for a good co-op game! 🙂 )

I don't know. Microsoft has a pretty damn generous policy concerning faulty systems. Not only that, but if they could prove that the percentage of defective systems is in line with a typical piece of consumer electronics/computing equipment then I would think their case wouldn't have too much merit.

I hope MS fights this as I think this is just some a-hole who've heard probably the same 200 people on the internet going crazy because they happened to have gotten faulty systems.

I'm 100% in Microsoft's corner on this, and they'd win the lawsuit for sure. However, it'd be way cheaper and easier to just settle the lawsuit than take it to court.
 
Ugh I was contemplating selling the Xbox 360. It's been sitting here since I received it from Circuit City on November 26th and I cracked it open today. My Gamertag is John J An if anyone wants to play. I got PDZ and CoD2 right now. I should be getting NFS MW tomorrow and DOA4 when it comes out.

I've had my 360 since Nov. 14th (got it early from a contest) and I haven't had a single lockup, crash or issue of any kind FYI.

If any of you wanna add me to your friends list, go ahead. I play a lot of PDZ, PGR3 and COD2 mostly...but also into Condemned (taking my time with it), Kameo, Quake 4 (sorry, I am a quake fanboy at heart), Tiger Woods and King Kong...plus the arcade games of course.

I'll have to dig up info on that. I thought coop was just for MP on the same TV or on system link. It would be awesome if you could do coop over XBL.
 
Also another thing coming to Kameo in the future is co-op over Live (with a patch I guess). You could do some serious beatdowns in co-op in that game. I highly recommend listening to Major Nelson's latest show, specifically the interview with the Kameo guy. There's a lot more to the game then I knew. http://www.majornelson.com

cod2 in vetern mode is very tough... two hits and you are dead... but i am loving it. i just completed the winter war.
