Xbox Live Memberships... Basically, the only difference is the ability to play online.

And if you are playing Forza on your 360, it will upconvert it to 720p or 1080i. 🙂
 
Wingznut it said I was online 6 minutes ago?!? that's wierd cause my internet has been down since last tuesday at home lol.

I guess when you sign into live.xbox.com it automatically signs you into your actual live account. that's pretty cool to know though 🙂
 
3rd Shipment of Xbox 360 available at Best Buy this Week

The Xbox 360 consoles will not be placed at the sales floor. No signs will be announcing that the Xbox 360 is in stock. You are supposed to be greeted at the door with the question: "What brings you in today?" Right answer is Xbox 360. Then they will tell you that the have inventory.

I4U Reader Michael K. emailed us that he has been greeted at the Best Buy at Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC today and he answered correctly. He was given a golden ticket (Xbox 360 Voucher).

Snagged a premium at BB this morning. Microsoft's deal on getting a remote with the premium systems didnt last long-My prem. didnt come with one 🙁

I must have been lucky. The XBox 360 Prem I bought this morning from BB has the remote included. Oh and I got PGR3. 😀

My gamertag is Drunk Wex, but I don't have XBox Live! setup yet. In fact, I'm stuck at work right now and my XBox is sitting in the trunk of my car! It's toture. I've got a Mitsubishi 52" DLP Hi-Def Diamond Series TV sitting at home waiting for it! Did I mention that it's torture? Only 1/2 hour left to go 'til I leave work...I can make it. :shocked:
 
Any Canucks out there - Zellers has 20 bucks off 360 games for Boxing day.

So far I own PGR3, Madden and NFS:MW. Haven't opened NFS:MW. Madden is OK, but the Xbox Live Cheesemeisters suck. PGR3 is amazing. I want to play Condemned but I think that's just a renter.

gah... this is tourture... i havn't been able to play my 360 all this week due to the sony tech who took apart my tv and never put it back together...

I've watched several movies, as well as home movies burned to DVD-R... No problems, and the quality looks just fine.

As a serious AV guy, pretty sucky - motion artifacts everywhere, compressed range, etc. Can do much, much better with a 200 buck DVD player.

That being said, I'd rate the 360 player around the 100 dollar dvd player range.

You can definitely do split screen PGR3... Make sure he has a profile loaded.

But alas, you cannot both race online though (with a single XBL acct.) 🙁

Just have the second controller create/login to a profile (by pushing the Guide button), then go into PLAYTIME... It'll be obvious from there.
