I didn't get picked for Halo 3.

In a way I hope I'm not selected in all honesty heh. I kind of don't want to play a half assed halo 3 game yet, and if I play it half assed, I'll have an idea how it will be when it is released when it's ready.

But if I am selected, I won't have the will power to not play it 🙁

i dont own a 360 but when i read the news that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is getting Redone for 360 Live Arcade, I am really wanting to get it now. Are they doing lots of thigs like that with other games???

Does anyone have a sure fire way to connect your pc to the 360? I've had my 360 since December and haven't been able to get the two to see each other. I've tried Zune, MP11, Media Connect, and most recently Tversity.

The 360 will just not see the PC, with the firewall on or off. I'm getting a bit frusterated here.

Did you set up the shares on the PC side when you tried Media Connect?

^. At least in my experience too, make sure you're wired to the same router your 360 is wired too. I've never gotten it to work when it's not wired (in my experience)

I'm just using a wired hub to connect. I can get on line with Live just fine.

I had the same problem. I have been trying to find the thread I posted in back when WMP11 came out where I posted what I did to fix it. I can't remember what I did now 🙁 If I think of it I'll let you know.

You must have either Zune or WMP11 running when trying to see the PC.

I can play music off of my PC without WMP 11 open somehow.

You don't need to have WMP open.

I just noticed that reading WMP site. Didn't think you did, just takin his word for it 😀

I didn't sign up for the Halo 3 beta, couldn't care any less. Wasn't a big halo 2 fan, and I don't mind waiting for the finished product.

Just go here, install the zune software. Share with your xbox 360 and then you are done.

Crackdown isn't so damn bad! Its nothing special gameplay wise, the graphics and sounds are fine and the control was easy to grasp but all in all its a smooth playing exaggerated gta/saints row type of game. Pretty fun just jumping around shooting stuff and I could see the game being pretty fun online with lots of players all over the screen shooting and jumping around. I'll wait for reviews and if they are positive then I'll get it at a reduced price (say $40 or less).

I pretty much have no idea what you just said! 🙂

Man, I can't beat the final boss, the RAAM guy, on GOW. I read a walkthrough online saying to use that gernade bow-and-arrow thingy, but my last savepoint only has the sniper gun, the gun with the chainsaw on it, and a couple of gernades. Any tips?

Cool. ok..I'll say it another way. The Crackdown demo is pretty good and exceeded my expectations. Is that better? 😛

Is there anything coming out besides Crackdown next month worth talking about?? I'm waiting for MLB 2K7 (god I hope its good) but that comes out in March.

I beat him on Hardcore by myself and all I used was the sniper rifle. On Insane I was plaing co-op and my friend was using the sniper and I used the torque bow.

Make sure you don't try to hit him while he's got the kryll around him. You can only hit him when the kryll are flying around. Just hit him with headshots too and try to get active reloads. I start out back behind that main area right through the train door, and I didn't make a run tot he other side until he was literally right next to me. Make sure you stay in the lit areas too or else you will be eaten by the Kryll. Also, don't worry about the flying dudes on the sides of the train. I didn't kill them at all on insane or hardcore.

What part are you having the most trouble with exactly?

Yeah, I tried a bunch of different weapons...including the mounted gun...on Raam and couldn't beat him. It wasn't until I started doing sniper rifle head shots with active reload that I was able to take him down. That is by far the easiest way.

And don't worry about Dom in single-player. He's going to be toast regardless and really doesn't do much to help take Raam down.

The only thing I'm having trouble with is beating him 😉 Okay so as long as he has the kryll around, he's untouchable? Do you know how many hits it takes, roughly? I think I ran out of ammo last time lol.

LOL I still, to this day, haven't noticed the mounted gun. I was talking to a friend about this the other day and I told him I didn't even know there was one at the last boss 😀

I'm at the exact spot...but I've only had about 3-4 goes at it. Haven't had time at home to play since then...hopefully I'll get a chance in the next day or so. I hate to end the game...looking forward to GOW2!

Is it just me or does the last page of this thread take forever to load? We need to start a new official thread.

Yeah but it's not in the light, so you die pretty quick if you can make it to it 😛

You know, I don't see why there was so much complaint & disappointment about GOW...I loved it! It's easy enough to beat without consulting a manual (except the last boss apparently, lol), the graphics are amazing, and the gameplay is fun. My kind of game! 😀

LMAO How could you not notice it? That was the 2nd thing (after Raam) that I noticed when standing in the doorway of the train car. It is on a raised platform at the other end.

That was the first thing I went for and just got my ass wiped out.
