Official X2 Motherboard Compatibility List

It's a partial list and more boards will be added as they are validated by AMD with updated BIOS's. Talked with an AMD rep and he said that all the 939 boards may not be compatible due to differences in the voltage regulators they use. Could be nothing and I don't have enough knowledge to validate that statement so....

You're thinking about the VIA KT890 chipset (which does not support the X2)

Well, I am posting from a neo2 on beta 1.95 bios. So it obviously can be done. The official bios should be out in a month

Has anyone heard if the GIGABYTE GA-K8N Ultra-9 is able to support an X2? Or at least be able to run it until GB releases a BIOS update?

Don't know if anyone actually cares, but I just got this response back from Gigabyte regarding my question above.

Dear Customer,

The Athlon64 X2 is supported on this model. A BIOS update is currently in beta release, and will be posted on our website within the next two weeks.

How did you do with the X2 on ASUS a8V mobo? Did you get it working?
If so, on which bios version?
