Ah you are in a realm of your own FFM Dumbass. Each and every post of yours seems like it was posted by someone who was raised on a diet of Paint Chips.

<< Yeah, reporters are dumb. Too bad there's plenty of them more left. >>

Tell me, why on earth would you post something like that unless you were a complete and utter moron?

And why would you come into this thread simply to bash me? Oh that's right... you're a 12yr old at heart.

Those guys have balls the size of bowling balls. Unfortunately for them, it hurts everytime they take a step.

First off, I feel really sorry for the Pearl family.

But does anyone else think the guy acted very foolishly?

In my life, I try to prioritize things this way:
1. God
2. My Wife
3a. Family/friends
3b. Work

I would not go to the most dangerous part of the world interviewing terrorists with a pregnant wife back home. That's just dumb. For that reason, I can't much relate to the reporter or his wife who encouraged him to leave her to go do some of the most dangerous work imaginable.

It's not dumb, it's a different way of thinking.

He worked a job important to society

Is being a police officer dumb? A firefighter? A soldier?

<< Man, they made a video? How incredibly cruel.. I hope his wife never has to watch it.

>>

I just read the Washington Post and apparently the video was extremely grusome. From what I understand the video had Pearl speaking (like he was being interrogated) when all of a sudden a man comes up from behind him and slits his throat.

Words cannot express my anger, disgust, sadness and sympathy. If I did express my opinions on this matter it would likely get me thrown out of the forum so I'll keep my mouth shut. I will say that the whole middle eastern area needs to be destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up, because the bad far outnumber the good people there and they have no reasoning skills, so they just need to be anhilated, laws be damned. They don't pay any attention to laws anyhow and they have no reguard for anyones life including their own, and they put it all on GOD's shoulders, as if were there a god, he would condone such acts of atrocity.

KILL EM ALL!!!

It's due time we teach these cavedwellers whose side God is really on. Islamic fundamentalists are retarded inbreds. Methinks genocide is not always a bad option.

I can't say I'm that surprised that they killed him though. :( I can't remember of anytime Islamic Fundamentalists have ever let a Jewish hostage go free.

Islamic fundamentalists are evil, period. They're the ones who are slitting throats, hacking people to death with machetes (philippines), and flying commercial airliners into buildings. This is nothing against Islam per se, but the whole idea of fundamentalism, that some (idiotic) religion, must be the most important thing in life, overriding all other concerns, is completely ridiculous and evil.

(end rant)

Um, I fail to see the comparison between these and a reporter. His job may be important to some people, but it's not important to society. He put himself in harms way and he paid the price, it's tragic and sad, but nearly as tragic as the death of a police officer, firefighter or soldier though they also put themselves in harms way, it's is a neccassary part of a neccassary job.

Red Dawn you are like a vulture, just waiting to swoop in and add a worthless flame maybe you need a hobby.....or maybe a real life........biker wannabe is just not as fullfilling as it used to be is it?

They will probably make a fortune off the film rights to that video, someone will buy it citing the right of the public to know and see the truth...... :-(

Ditto. He was not a soldier serving his country, an aid worker helping the suffering, or a firefighter running into a burning building to protect the lives of others. He was looking for a story to help his career. I don't see anything noble or heroic in that.

Still, I hope justice comes to his murderers.
