<< First off, I feel really sorry for the Pearl family. But does anyone else think the guy acted very foolishly? In my life, I try to prioritize things this way: 1. God 2. My Wife 3a. Family/friends 3b. Work I would not go to the most dangerous part of the world interviewing terrorists with a pregnant wife back home. That's just dumb. For that reason, I can't much relate to the reporter or his wife who encouraged him to leave her to go do some of the most dangerous work imaginable. >>
It's not dumb, it's a different way of thinking.
He worked a job important to society
Is being a police officer dumb? A firefighter? A soldier?
Um, I fail to see the comparison between these and a reporter. His job may be important to some people, but it's not important to society. He put himself in harms way and he paid the price, it's tragic and sad, but nearly as tragic as the death of a police officer, firefighter or soldier though they also put themselves in harms way, it's is a neccassary part of a neccassary job.
Red Dawn you are like a vulture, just waiting to swoop in and add a worthless flame maybe you need a hobby.....or maybe a real life........biker wannabe is just not as fullfilling as it used to be is it?
