Its only WM8.. which isnt too bad.. but 9 is better 😱

Oh well, one minute to preshow.

Im watching it with the WMP9 taskbar mode right now as I type this 😀

it is in seattle at safeco field (were the mariners play) and ofcourse they come to washington once i get out of WWE... i mean i am not interested in it... but if it came around here a couple years ago i would have went, that would have been fun 🙂

wow ive missed out in the whole wrestling scene, though that card looks like utter crap. the main matches are good but the undercard looks horrible.

not a bad show,

they showed a Goldbeg Promo and then a Promo for Backlash confirming that he will be there. Expect for him to debut tomorrow night and feud with The Rock

Triple H still has the title, too bad as I thought the bookerman was going to win it tonight. Stupid backstage politics. Booker needs to be the champ

The Rock beat SCSA after giving 3 straight Rock Bottoms

Brock won the title, Kurt Angle is out for a year now, he is scheduled for neck surgery which will keep him out that long

Rowdy Roddy Piper interfered in the Hogan match, he clubbed Hulk with a lead pipe. Hogan won after a leg drop.

other matches arent worth mentioning.

I thought the PPV as a whole sucked. The only big 'suprise', if you wanna call it that, was Roddy Piper. And who didn't guess he would hit Hogan instead of Vince. He kept looking back at him for christ's sake. And in how many matches did each wrestler do their finisher atleast 3 times before the match was over?

I don't get into wrestling half as much as I did a few years ago, but this PPV still sucked. The crowd just wasn't into it.

"Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar finishes the show. They had an awesome match with a horrible ending, not in horribly booked, but in what happened. The finish was supposed to be a shooting star press, but Lesnar slipped on the top and landed on his head and was hurt bad. To Angle's credit, he immediately covered Lesnar and improvised a near fall before Lesnar hit the F-5 for the pin. I'm writing this several minutes after hte finish of the show and Lesnar is still in the ring being attended to by three people. He is standing, but holding onto the ropes. Both guys hugged after the match. At no point did anyone acknowledge Angle's injury, and he did everything under the sun, multiple germans, took big bumps and I'm guessing when the adrenaline wears off, he'll be hurting bad. We'll have a report later tonight on Lesnar."

Damn!! I had been waiting for Lesnar to do the shooting star press ever since he broke into WWE. I heard they had avoided him doing it earlier so as to maximize the effect when he finally did do it. Really sucks that it turned out that way.

I don't think Brock was suppose to land the way he did. It looked really ugly and looked like he hurt himself in the process.

oh yeah that looked funny as hell. he pretty much nosedived into the canvas about a foot short of landing on angle. hehehe 😛

edit - does anyone else have an ad for WMXIX tickets on the bottom of their page?

Just got home from Wrestlemania. From my perspective, the crowd was pretty quiet throughout the matches, except for Hogan-McMahon. The loudest pop was definitely a tie between the Goldberg announcement and Hogan winning. It might've been where I was sitting, but it definitely seemed to be more pro-Rocky than pro-Austin.

I knew Lesnar was going to hit that shooting star when he went to the apron. I was really, really surprised he didn't pull him closer because that was a hell of a leap. My boys and I were in shock when Lesnar landed on his head. I don't know when they cut the PPV but they showed a close-up of Lesnar after the match. His eyes were glazed over. It looked really bad.

HHH is too much of an arse to give up his title.

While it wasnt the favorable choice it was done for the right reason.

Didnt actually see it but it sounds as if Lesnar slipped and caused him to mess up.

I thought that this was the the best Wrestlemania that I've seen in past years. Highlights for me:

Best Signs: "Mow your back" (directed towards A-Train) and "T-Bag Saddam."

HBK vs Jericho: HBK dancing around to his old music was just plain hilarious. When he gave Jericho the sweet chin music you could hear Jericho's teeth slam together. It was brutal.

Hogan vs McMahon: Classic. Couldn't stop laughing the whole time at all of the classic moves. The spanish announce guy getting the steel chair to the face definately wasn't supposed to happen. McMahon doing the leg drop from the ladder through the table was great.

Angle vs Lesnar: That shooting star press was crazy! Lesnar was a space cadet after that, he didn't have a clue where he was. You could see him trying to pick up the belt after the match. He was just reaching into the air missing it.

Many other good moments, but I'm too lazy to type anymore 🙂

"Don't hate the player, hate the game!" Or is it, "Don't hate the player, hate The Game".

At first, I thought he had landed on his head as well, but once they showed the replay, you can tell he landed correctly. He got all the way around BARELY, and actually landed face down. But he still did come a foot short of evening hitting Angle somewhat how he was supposed to. He's gonna be alright. I wish I had a tape to prove myself!

After the match, Brock is clearly in pain and has blood coming from his nose from his botched Shooting Star Press

The best news...

that WrestleMania 20 is from New York City. Tickets will be on sale in the coming months.

Goldberg is 100% confirmed to appear on tonight's RAW show to start a feud with The Rock which will reach it's peak at the Backlash PPV in just over four weeks.

:Q 😀

Too bad tix usually sell out in like 3 seconds. Hopefully I'll be able to get 'em tho', as I didn't try to get tix to WM X.

Dude I am gonna so be there....
plus.. i know this is mean, but..
one of my friends is in a wheelchair, and whenever we go to these events, he gets to go backstage thru the handicapped entrance... backstage = wrestlers... last time i met SCSA, Angle, Trish, JR.
