No, they're immortalized now because of that and the way they did it. Any time a team is down 0-3 you will hear of this team. For as long as you live. Believe it.

Thank you Sox, great job this year!

 to all BoSox fans out there who stuck with this team. I'm tipping one for you from the great plains, it just isn't New Englanders who are enjoying the win tonight. :)

The Cards have a great, classy team whose players I would be proud to root for if they end up in Boston. Their fans are great too.

I'm off for a celebration, (had to stop long enough and post here) no more 1918. :D

AROD will forever be remembered as a good player who made his team worse. Seatle, Texas, and now the Yankees. The poster boy of Yankees high priced mercenaries with no  Every team he leaves gets better and every team he goes to gets worse. to AROD for bringing down the Yankees!! to the Cardinals for a great season and a classy organization. to the Red Sox for overcoming history and playing some incredible baseball.

Congrats to the BoSox!!! They played well as a team with players coming through when others struggled.

On a different note, I read somewhere that the players voted to give Nomar a full share of the playoff bonus or something like that. That was a nice touch.

Man, what happened to the so-called best team in baseball?
They never even put up a fight.

Congratulations, Red Sox.

No biggie, what's the point in making a bet if you don't honor it?

The Red Sox won and they deserved it.

Hey at least the World Champions came from your division and had to play unbelievable baseball to defeat your team! Your guys played them a lot tougher than the so called best team in Baseball!

That's classic. :) I hope Boston does it again next year, but if not I'll be pulling for the Cubbies. (our former siblings in disappointment)

If Theo wants to keep his reputation, he'd better keep as much of this team together as possible. Every single player helped earn their ring, from Manny and Schilling to Roberts and McCarty. (somewhere right now Nomar is crying while watching soccer highlights..)
