Man, I have to say the Phillies look great right now.

They're winning this with the bat's of their big two essentially dead. If Rollins and Howard come alive. Sheesh...

The Phils should have scored a lot more runs last night. And Lidge is omgwtfbbqlitesout. If the Rays aren't ahead by the 8th and have to face Madsen/Lidge, it's almost guaranteed to be over. You have to give the bullpen edge to Philly with those two.

There were a lot of runners left in scoring position. Kaz and the defense got out of a lot of jams, but it could have been much worse. Hopefully, Shields pitches better tonight.

That said, we didn't do too bad against Hamels.

yeah even if one of those 3 show up, it should be heavily to the phillies adv.

Just as a counter point, if BJ (DPs are rare for him), Pena, or Longoria do better, we'll be better off as well. We just need to stop trying to hit HRs. I know Carl did it last night, but Rays did better this year with hits and speed.

Yeah I thought they were just trying too hard last night.

One of the best hits was Iwamura just hitting a bloop into midfield where nobody can catch it. If they got a couple more of those last night they easily could have won. Runner on 2nd, little midfield bloop, you might get a run out of it if the guy gets a good jump.

They need to relax a bit and get back to some more normal swings. They weren't going to dink homers off of Hamels all night so I don't know what they were thinking. Maybe just nerves. Hopefully they will settle down tonight.

I really don't care for either team. In one area I'm rooting for the NL, but then I gotta root for the Rays because they have had a great season, especially considering last year.

what is this..first backstreet boys and now some dudes named "Los Lonely Boys"??!! Of course they are doing their own version of the anthem. meh

Not a good job by Victorino by not advancing the runners. I think a drag bunt could be a nice surprise against the Rays with his speed.

bases loaded for the rays. Tampa Bay had their opportunities last night and never cashed in. lets see what they do here.

Yes, I know the Phils are now down 3-0, but this game is a long way from over.

Rollins playing CF: Because Shane plays perhaps the shallowest CF in the majors, that was his ball -- but with Rollins range he was there first and calling for it all the way -- glad there wasn't any miscommunication between him and Victorino.
