This is probably the perfect time to use Instant replay.... or else have an extra judge just watching the goalie area to ensure nothing like this happens again.
 
FIFA is going to add 2 more officials apparently. I would prefer a challenge system where as a team has 1 challenge and they can use it when they want to go to video.
 
great first half, totally worth waking up at 10am on a Sunday after going to sleep at ~5am.
but, yeah, it's so sad when refs can do so much damage to one of the teams 🙁
 
England did get robbed. Top down camera view shows that was by definition a goal.

Watching the game in Germany, the whole town is shutdown.
 
Well, just so you guys now. I'm sure that linesman / ref team will have a lot of pissed off fans following their movements. I mean non US people take their soccer very seriously. and well the refs in this game are going to be very unpopular...
 
My brother just called me to make sure I am home this afternoon so we can watch the Argentina - Mexico game on my 100" setup 😛
