Yes the disallowed goal was a wrong call, but WTF did the incredible hulk decide he had to power the ball into the net when he was staring at an open net?

At this point I can only surmise that the linesman ("referee's assistant") is either guessing, totally inept, or being paid off. It really wasn't even close. Onside all the way.

It's a wide open game, lots of up and down and we generally are looking solid offensively. Defensively we're not looking so good. Demerit and Cherundolo have had had some shakey moments, misjusdging balls played in. Fortunately a clean sheet still, although Algeria put one off the crossbar in the opening minutes when Demerit totally wiffed a ball played into the area.

I think this is what they mean when they say Altidore is still "raw". LOL I love the guy's size, speed, and natural ability, but his decision making is shit.
 
We can win the group if we win the match and England wins, correct? Unless England scores a ton of goals.

We would be tied with differential and would be a two goal lead on goals scored.

we had 2 goals on them before the game started. it was 3-1 as far as goals. so if we win 1-0 and their score stays we will take the group.
