Seems like the WC of South America for sure.

Brazil and Argentina are dominant, but Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile are all quite impressive.

Maybe only Spain can stop South American domination of this WC.

Unfortunately the draws worked against South America. or rather, it's Eurocentric.

What channel is broadcasting Korea vs Nigeria at 2:30pm EST today? Is it ESPN or ABC?

Also anyone know any good online streaming websites for worldcup games?

If we assume Greece loses to Argentina(very likely even w/o Messi)

Nigeria, who is in last with 0 points(Greece and SK have 3)

Can beat SK 1-0 and advance on GD, since Nigeria is at -2, SK at -1

A Nigeria 1-0 win puts them to -1 and SK to -2

If that happens and Greece manages a tie, Greece goes

As it stands pts gd
Argentina 6
S Korea 3 -1
Greece 3 -1
Nigeria 0 -2

And its Arg V Greece and Nig v SK

Tomorrow is even more fun
We win we are in, no matter the England v Slovenia score

We tie, they tie, as long as we tie with in 2 goals, we are in, as we are +2 on goals to England

We tie england wins we are dicked.

In group d its

Ghana 4 +1
Germany 3 +3
Serbia 3 0
Australia 1 -4

Its Aus v Serbia and Germany v Ghana

G V G tie, Serbia win, Ghana and Serbia go through

Germany win they go through, if Serbia ties or loses, Ghana goes through

Ghana win, Aus win, Ghana Aus go through

In Group E
Netherlands 6 +3
Japan 3 0
Denmark 3 -1
Cameroon 0 -2

Its Neth v Cameroon and Japan Denmark

Winner of Japan Denmark goes through, they tie, Japan goes through, Neth clinched 1st unless Japan wins by 3(4 for Denmark) and neth loses(all on GD)

Group F
Paraguay 4 +2
Italy 2 0
N Zealand 2 0
Slovakia 1 -2

Paraguay v NZ, Italy V Slovakia

Basically whoever wins is through, Paraguay can tie and go through

Group G
Brazil 6 +3
Portugal 4 +7
Ivory Coast 1 -2
N Korea 0 -8

Basically brazil and Portugal are through

Brazil is guaranteed, but if they lose to Portugal they are second not first

Ghana win huge 7+ and Portugal lose, they sneak through, but unlikely.

Group H
Chile 6 +2
Spain 3 +1
Swiss 3 0
Honduras 0 -3

Chile v Spain, Honduras v Swiss

Chile is through, if they lose to spain, they are second, tie or win, they are first

Swiss can go through win a win and chile/spain tie or chile win.

Honduras would need a huge win, and chile win. By decent margins to make up GD.

So its pretty freakin open going into the last round.

Pretty exciting and all

All we need now is some footage of german tourists walking by the arc de triomphe to complete that surrender.

At this point in the tournament, very few spots are locked in for sure, which means that the third game of the group rounds are going to be intense.

Group A - Uruguay #1, Mexico #2
Group B - All four teams playing this afternoon can advance.
Group C - All four teams playing tomorrow morning can advance.
Group D - All four teams playing tomorrow afternoon can advance.
Group E - 3/4 teams can advance
Group F - 4/4 teams can advance
Group G - 3/4 teams can advance (although CIV has to win by a shit ton...)
Group H - 4/4 teams can advance

The game is afoot...

Chile v Spain, Honduras v Swiss

Chile is through, if they lose to spain, they are second, tie or win, they are first

Swiss can go through win a win and chile/spain tie or chile win.
Chile is not through, in fact, they may easily fail to advance. They have two minimum victories (1:0), and if they lose to Spain 1:0, and Swiss wins against Honduras 1:0, they will be tied with the Swiss. Not sure what happens in that case, would need to look up the rules.
But if Chile loses to Spain by 2+ goals, or Switzerland beats Honduras by 2+ goals (with a Chile loss), both of which are not at all improbable, esp. Swiss beating quite weak Honduras, Chile is out.
