No, SA needs to win and they need either Mexico or Uruguay to lose AND they need to make up a 5 goal differential. Right now SA is 2 goals away from making up the differential (which could be SA goals or Uruguay goals). Depending on how the differential is made up, they could still be tied and I believe would have to draw lots to advance.

No, actually SA is very lucky right now... To pass, they need 3 more goals of difference compared to Mexico, so basically, if Uruguay beats Mexico by 3-0 and SA also wins by 3-0, or if SA wins by 4-0 and Uruguay by 2-0, etc

Its amazing that it is actually half way done already... And judging by how much France sucks right now, I wont be surprised if SA pulls it off

SA needs to pull a Portugal and go berserk on 2nd half 😛 No one likes the french anyway
