I was in Dick's yesterday. Official ball was $150. Meh, I ain't no pro. I went with the $15 ungrooved replica.

i bought a replica from dicks too...it was too squishy felt like a kick ball. tried to trap the ball under my foot and ended up rolling my foot off the ball and spraining my ankle pretty badly.

unless your buying it for a collectors item I wouldn't buy it at all.
 
get a brine ncaa or an american challenge version of it(its their NCAA certified ball)

springy, but still has great touch to it, not like all the stupid raquetballs they pawn as soccer balls nowadays
 
used to be about 65! but that was the late 90's! I have a american challenge replica that was about 23 because we ordered 20 of them at once 😀
