I think it's extremely STUPID that FIFA doesn't use instant replay.

Replay or not the assistant was standing in perfect position.. His job is to watch offside, he was obviously not paying attention and a replay should never be required in that position.. Though the option to have one would be nice.

I know.. but when one makes a mistake like that at what is effectively their only task it makes you wonder. If it was incompetence then he should be replaced and we can use replay to alleviate it.. if it was bias a replay wouldn't make a difference a it will likely be the same chap making the call.

I also don't get the argument that it would interrupt the flow of the game. There are less than a handful of goals in any game and the bad calls seem to totally destroy the flow.
