Cameroon and Ireland after a tedious game are tied 1-1. The goal shot by Ireland was awesome, from outside the box even he didnt expect it to go in. It barely sneaked in just past the Cameroon Keeper. Not that the Cameroon goal wasnt bad.. it was prety complicated, bouncing around before it found the hole.

Next up Uruguay vs some other country starting with a "D"..

I know I might be going a litle back over here, but did anyone watch yesterdays game of France and Senegal? I guess its just me but France sucked big time in that game. Talk about having a one player team.
 


One could say that Cameroon had the first 45min and Ireland the second half.
I was not impressed by either teams. Germany is my favorite as group E winner. Second place is open as i see it, could be either Cameroon, Ireland or Saudi Arabia.

I saw it despite it being at some odd time for me 4:30 in the morning PST.

Yeah france sucked.. I think the lucked out the last time in winning the world cup. I think this time its between Germany, Brazil, Cameroon (they will improve) or South Korea.. I dont know how far the US will get.. though they are a good team and the US women have proven they can win.. its just a matter of time to see how they do.

I just signed in recently and all the EDIT options are gone. Thats the only way we could see which country would win each match that we selected. All is available is to see the end score or results in each group of matches we selected at once. I hope I didnt make too little sense there...

Hmm you didnt mention Argentina and Italy, both do have a solid chance. They have way too many good players. England and France are one player teams. Also, I think you are overestimating south korea's team. USA's team might do well but they have long way to go before they can try to claim the cup.

Well played entertaining game. Both teams played skilful attack soocer, many good chanses for both teams. Denmark impressed!

agh world cups are great. watching america loose then gettin laughed at at school is something that i will miss. i'm in britain where everyone is crazy about football. it'd be funny if america managed to get to play england, but they'd need to get quite far.

i think if america get to the next round they will be second behind portugul who are a good team. south korea, naaahh.
