I just came upon a website that tried to define the word neocon and they compared it with Hitler. That goes to show how twisted the liberal views are. Logic is not on your side.

I do not neccessarily believe the statements in my above "fix," I was merely trying to demonstrate that through this entire thread you have been guilty of the behaviour you are condemning.
In this forum, as in any public forum for debate, there are many idiots on both sides. If you fail to see the quality posts given by reasonable liberals, it is because you are willfully looking away. And I would say the same to a liberal who spouted off about the general idiocy of the conservative posts. You claim to use logic, but all you have done in this thread is pull out oversimplified, generalized statements about a population. This, in itself, is illogical. Your arguments can be defeated with a single example to the contrary. I'm not directly familiar with any of your "logical" posts, if you could link me to one I would be happy to provide you with a logical, liberal counter.
Overall, I like the fact that there are a few more conservatives on the board right now. They've come up with a couple good arguments.

There is a kind of person who is emotionally dead and punishes those who retain a semblance of feeling by putting them down. While there is danger in unexamined passion, the greatest danger comes from those whose logic is won at the expense of deeply buried feelings. For such souls life can be quite cold. I believe Nazi Germany was full of such people.

Many youngsters (college & high school) are ideologists (liberals) - They look through rose colored glasses (no offense Mooney
).If you look at a lot of the previous age polls done here, that also accounts for a great amount of members.
Therefore the bent here will be more liberal.
Diehards on both sides will stick to their guns and may deliberately twist information or create false impressions with thread titles or posts (yes Dave - but no offense).
Non-diehards will be willing to engage in reasonable discussion, their views may not change, and however, information on view points may provide the ability to enforce a fence sitter.
Then there are others that choose to evaluate any information from either side and look for pure biases and attempt to expose those fallacies. People like that are not easily labeled, however are despised by the first diehard group.
