So, it's that time of year, this might help some of us brag, or whine, or help others get ideas for what they are gonna do... I'll start us out:

picked her up an open-boxed Canon S500 5mp elph digital camera for $130 from Sears, probably my best deal of this year.

Anyone else?
 
my so wants $700 for school..well I was thinking about my gift and Im thinking Ill need $700 for all the condoms im going to be using up the next months for my being so generous ...

Just out of curiosity, what convinced you to go movado? For the money you pay, it would seem wiser to go with a specialized movement as opposed to a quartz one.
 
well my SO and I broke up last week 🙁. So far i havent gotten her anything special. I know things are touchy with us at the moment, i hope we can solve things when i meet her after my finals in LA. I have known that this breakup was coming for a while now the fact that it happened now right before our finals with her calling it quits makes things a lot harder.

This is a sucky time to break up.. oh well.. in anycase the only thing i got her is a "Chia pet" , because she wanted one. I dont know what else i will get her. We set the budget at 20 bucks because she increased her CC bill thru the roof, so we agreed on 20 buck gifts for each other.

This year i have spent:

a whole bunch for her digital camera + memory card (Valentines day)
and a whole bunch for her laptop.

She is an ATOT member, so i dont care if she reads what i got for her.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I had a whole lot get dumped on me as well right before finals, the compound stress is very intense... the plus side is now that they are over things are resolving one at a time.

Don't let life get you down, enjoy your xmas, and know that you have a bunch of members ehre to talk to if need be...

and, of course, the big question is which chia pet did you get😉
 
I can post because

A. My wife VERY rarely reads this forum (mostly "over my shoulder" when i am here)

B. I already gave her the gift (early present because we both wanted to use it during our holday traveling).

I bought and installed a new JVC KD-G300 car CD/MP3 receiver. Now we can listen to all of the TSO and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music we own on one MP3 disc as we travel to visit friends and relatives 🙂
 
Haven't bought anything yet but placing the order today...

Pulse/Heart Rate monitor because she's pregnant and needs to keep her heart rate at a certain level.
