What happened?

I actually picked hoyer up this week and played him since RGIII is on a bye.

Hoyer scrambled and took off down the sideline, nailed on a helmet-to-helmet by Kiko Alonso. But it actually looks like some sort of leg injury, he was limping off the field. They just took him to the locker room.

Damn, Hoyer just went down on an awkward tackle and is leaving the game for the locker rooms. IIRC, Browns start the season 0-2, bench Weeden, and Hoyer wins the next 2 games.

Sounds like some Cleveland sports luck to me.

damn browns, probably only time this year I'd pick them to win and they let the stupid bills cheapshot their chance to win.

Stupid penalty. Why cheap shot a guy after the ball is 5 yards down the field?

That guy needs to meet Mr Bench

I am becoming increasingly favorable of the player committing a cheapshot that results in player injury being suspended as long as the injured player takes to return to the field, with a reasonable cap on the suspension.

If its blatant, no cap.

Didn't hockey do something like this with the guy who got paralyzed or something?

I missed the game because of a flight but both starting QBs got hurt? Ouch, and that knee injury on Hoyer looked pretty bad. Glad to see the Browns win, my company HQ is in Cleveland and I am sure they are very happy. And Josh Freeman might be getting some calls?

Gotta like the Browns. EVERYONE wrote them off after they traded Trent Richardson and I'm guessing the players on the Browns were hearing none of that and decided they weren't going to tank the season.

Trent Richardson meanwhile is playing second fiddle to Ahmad Bradshaw in Indy. I wonder if they are going to try and implement Richardson more as the season goes on.

Jacksonville should think about trying to get something for Maurice Jones Drew. He's been a great back there while the team has been so shitty for a long long time. Really tough to be a great running back on a shitty team. He did so for a long time, though. This year, not so much, I think maybe the team is too shitty 🙂 - That, and he's getting older. Mojo has a lot of miles on him.

This Browns story is one of the funniest things I have seen in this league. It feels like a movie script where the owner is tanking the team and the players go out and win the championship.

Pats release sudfeld and finally put wilfork on ir. Guess that means they think gronk finally going to play. They also signed collie.

I love what the Browns are doing but it's still a long season. Hoyer's injury looked bad, and Weeden has to step up for the Browns to keep winning.

screw the browns

I put in Buffalo's defense in fantasy (I mean...they were playing the damn Browns!) and got ass raped for it.

Yes sir..
That would be the now Red Wing Todd Bertuzzi.
I think he would have been suspended the whole season after, but the lockout happened. He was not allowed to play internationally.

Thank you!

The name was stuck on the end of my tongue.
