And they all took turns beating the SH!T out of him while they gagged him?? There were about 1,000 troops there in the 101st, right? Tie that motherf*&ker up and let ever last single one of those soldier get one lick in on that piece of sh!t. But don't gag him, let him scream like the the little punk ass bitch that he is!:|

One of the officers wounded by the grenades knew the guy and had participated in his earlier punishment declared he was muslum on TV on CNN just 10 minutes ago.
It doesn't matter if he was muslum or jehovas witness or an athiest, he killed an officer and wounded 12 others. He is a walking dead man now.
 
You're right, NFS4, that would be a more suitable punishment. My comment, though, came from what I know of military conduct during war. Of course, the liberals would have a field day if they killed him on the spot.
 
Thought I would add that MSNBC reported a few minutes ago that a 2nd US soldier has be detained from the gernade attack. Got this on TV...

Edit: I think they said, it isn't so now about the 2nd US soldier being detained.... didn't catch it all.

Just a little tidbit on some effects in Iraq of the attack...from an MSNBC article:

Iraqi currency with Saddam?s picture on it has become essentially worthless. Prices in foreign currency rise by the hour. A bottle of vodka that cost $7 two days ago now costs $45.

FOX strikes me as the less-responsible network in this regard. CNN wisely
chose to withhold any comments on the religion of the attacker, until (presumably)
the Pentagon issues a release. Apparently FOX chose to speculate instead.

But you have to ask yourself what's sadder: the assumption he is Muslim or the fact that he IS indeed Muslim (according to Foxnews)
and this was such a predictable fact?

Just like Sep 11 attacks. As soon as the realisation came that they were terrorist attacks most people immediately pointed to Islamic extremists.
And they were right.

The sad thing to me is that these assumptions are easy ones to make and more often than not are right.

Why is it wrong to state the likely truth simply because it might offend peoples sense of political correctness?

I'd probably react the same way. I was talking to a friend who was in the 82nd Airborne about 5 years ago when that came across the line. He said if he or his buddies had been one of the guys who caught him afterward, that guy would still be alive, but he'd be no longer have any kneecaps from where they would've shot them out. He said he's fairly sure that guy received some "loving" treatment from his squad before any ranking officers go there.
