Please, I'm using this thread for updates while I am at work. It is taking too much time to plow through all of the nef posts. I'm sure I am not the only one that would appreciate a little less noise and more updates and confirmation from all of the different news sources we can't browse.

Was that attack on a residential home ANOTHER attack on Saddam, or was that the other location from last night where he might have been?
haven't seen this theory on here yet, so I will toss it out there, you tell me if it holds water.
The rumors started yesterday over that Iraqi Minister were started by the US. One would assume he would be close to other top leaders, possibly even the big cheese. They may have done this knowing he would show himself. Perhaps they wanted to watch the suspected location to see if he left from there, or they tracked him from that broadcast back to the location they hit last night.
Still not convinced about Saddam being alive, why is the CIA so worried about verifying it was him on the tape last night or today? He said nothing which would corroborate he was still alive, they may have a tape of him for 6 months, each one dated accordingly. He seemed very calm for someone almost assasinated, and didn't mention the attack in any way, just the normal rhetoric. I will have to see him speak specifically on something that has happened SINCE that attack.

It might have entered an autorotation to avoid further gunfire... It probably took the autorotation all the way to the ground, the crew then checked their equipment and decided to take off again.
