Love it. I've finally replaced my Droid X. With every other phone I've tested (and I get all of them, pre-release) nothing else has ever come close to matching my needs for performance, compatibility, battery life, and great form factor. This is the one that does. If you don't need 4G, this will be the phone for you.

Update: Official release date now pegged as 4/28

It was rumored to be released in March so maybe he works somewhere that gets him early access to stuff or knows someone.

So April then? May?

Closer it is to July, the easier it'll be for me to persuade in contract pricing for it. :p

Looks like a solid phone, not revolutionary, but definitely one of the most refined single core devices. Hopefully, it has an easy root and open bootloader. The original Dinc has great community development behind it.

Refinement. Maturity. That's exactly what this phone represents, and its what the Android device market has been sorely lacking. Sure, 6-12 months post-launch of any device you'll probably have 1-2 official OEM updates and a handful of good modded ROMs to choose from, but its rare to see an Android device launch with mature software right out of the gate. And frankly, I think it's more important to have performance, stability, and battery life at Day 1 rather than the latest version of Android.

Well, HTC has a pretty good reputation as far as updates, even if they are a little slow with the kernel source. Moto only supports their flagship devices, and Samsung doesn't know how to release an update. :p

Any tidbits on when we'll be able to purchase an Inc2?

Reason = they want to keep your business. :p

I'm going to guess that Verizon isn't too pleased with the AT&T and TMO merger. Even with their strong phone line up, I think they may 'incentivize' customers to stay with them.

OK, official release date of 4/28 leaked by Wirefly...they are now accepting pre-orders. Still no official announcement from Verizon Wireless.

BTW, I'm still using DInc 2 pre-release as my daily driver, and I still love it!
