I have two of them for sale, will be posting them on ebay, any takers?
ada3700daa5bn 90nm (320US no tax, you choose shipping method FULL INSURANCE a must)

I also have two 4000's (ada4000dep5as)
(620US no tax, you choose shipping method, again FULL INSURANCE.)

I'm in Canada, so US buyers may get dinged for customs/duty, etc, I have no control over that.

Monarch have dropped the price from 540$ to 500$ today and the ETA is now May 20th and not May 2nd like they were saying before.

I sent them an e-mail and they will credit me the 40$ so that I can have it at the new lower price.

I suggest everyone to do the same.

Ya, I did MSI first, but the board was problematic (Hanging during post, onboard ethernet failed, also was making weird noises). I'm using the DFI board now. Very happy thus far

Are you're referring to the MSI SLI platinum board? If so, it was hanging with your FX-55? What on your board was making weird noises???

You're trying to kill me. 😉

Please bare in mind if you do decide to do this, we can only do it a pre-order. Only recently AMD dropped the price on these cpus and we will not be able to do this on orders that have already shipped. (We bought them at a much higher price, and are offered 0 price protection on them)

Sounded like the board was shorting out. Real wierd and intermittant. I rma'd the board but didn't want to wait so I bought the DFI prior to rmaing. A friend of mine is gonna pick up the MSI.

I had my heart initially set on the DFI board, but then someone started a rumor (pcstats) that the MSI could DICE. They lied. It couldn't. I was gonna live with the board, but then that stuff started happening, so I decided to go back to my original plan.

The sound solution on the DFI is better, imo. I didn't like that fact that I couldn't have the spdif and analog audio running at the same time on the creative board. Once digital out was on, analog was off. Why does this matter? I have logiz5500's and zalman 5.1 headphones, and didn't want to have to exit or alt tab apps to switch between the two.

Bought a retail Venice 3200 from Monarch today!

Thanks MonarchJoe for a great deal!

I can't wait to crank this sucker up!

My understanding is the onboard Creative chip for MSI drastically reduces CPU overhead when compared to the Asus SLI or Gigabyte SLI boards. DFI uses the same chip as those other guys, so I imagine it wouldn't be any different.

At any rate, obviously we went for different specs, and it sounds like it worked for you, hopefully MSI will work for me.

Enjoy!

Update!

3700+'s, oem and retail, are being checked in as we speak. It was a beautiful site to see the pallets of them in the back. *wipes a single tear from his eye*

Time to ship!

Joe, you guys were too fast! My CPU is here today, but I'm still waiting for the rest of my PC.

My compliments to you, and monarch computers Joe. Every part that I'm on hold for are from zipzoomfly.com, which apparently doesn't ship for at least 2 days after you submit your order. >:-|

We should be getting more than enough in to cover all of my pre-orders.

Monarch is usually pretty good, but I think with all the hype surrounding the rev E cores they have been very busy. I ordered my 3700+ the day it appeared on their website, still no shipping confirmation, but eh still a few more hours in the business day. I did order a headset 4 days ago though and it still hasn't shipped =\.
