Great season, just 1 win short. Despite the loss, this is a great time to be a Canuck fan. We've got a great core and Gillis has really done wonders for this team. I think we'll be back again next year.

The number one line-up related change I'd make is get a good body to work witht he Sedins and drop Burrows to the Second. Someone like Higgins or Hansen with the Twins. Kesler, Burrows and Raymond (I know he'll be back) on the second.

Don't forget, a burned out and looted city.

Not our year, next year will be. Might as well put them on the Cup now.

Comments like this, and other stuff throughout the playoffs implying that it's a foregone conclusion that Vancouver would win the cup, are pretty obnoxious even if facetious. Obnoxious Canucks fans drove me to root for Boston, and it's not often that a New York-area sports fan roots for a Boston team.

Ya, and...?

Dear Vancouver Fan,

When you can behave like grown ups, maybe you can have the cup.

Way to generalize.

It is coming out now that several of the people who were arrested last night were also arrested for smashing windows here during the olympics, and for rioting in Toronto for the G20.

You probably haven't heard, but the streets of Vancouver were almost totally clean by noon today due to the 10,000 volunteers who showed up with brooms and garbage bags at 7 am.

8 -- Goals scored by the Canucks in the Final, the fewest ever by a team in a seven-game Final. The previous record was 9, set by both Toronto and Detroit in the Leafs' seven-game victory in 1945.

Ouch.

What attitude are you talking about? Perhaps you're the one with the attitude? I'm getting that feeling.

The attitude that they've already won the cup and that playing the games is just a formality.

It's the same reason people hate Patriots fans.

meh, whatever. Grow thicker skin then.

I don't know where you got the idea that you've somehow hurt my feelings. I just find your attitude distasteful, and it is one of the reasons I'm glad that Canucks fans have never had the pleasure of seeing their team win the cup. Judging by how many Canucks fans on other forums have developed the same persecution complex that Penguins fans have, apparently a lot of people don't care for your team these days. I think the attitude of the fans is part of that, but of course the diving and biting are also a factor.

Next year will be the year though. Or the year after that. Or the year after that. Or the year after that. Or the year after that.
