This.

I have had the update running for close to a day now and I'm pretty sure it's not just the 'ooh, shiny' effect skewing my opinion. The UI elements actually do seem more responsive now, which is hard to believe considering how slick it was before. Things like going back through recently closed applications, scrolling lists and so on.

I love the integrated Facebook Chat into the Messaging hub. I am not sure if the Battery Saver option will really yield results but it looks good...in theory.

@theprodigalrebel: Do you have turn by turn navigation in India? or do we need to wait for Nokia Mango phones to get that?

samsung focus v 1.3 here. still waiting for my update, although it won't do me much good until last.fm takes advantage of the new api's

really wanted a WP7 phone, but i'm not going to take the Arrive on Sprint. Nokia Phones are going to be probably released next year, so I might as well get the new iphone 5 on sprint.

Upgraded my mom's HD7 to Mango, and she couldn't be happier. (Now she can write chinese)
The phone is still confusing to her, and she still doesn't know how to write an e-mail. But in my hands, everything just makes sense....

My biggest problem is that my premier benefits will end this year, so I need to get a phone to replace my EVO 4G. Hey, at least I'll be able to sell the iphone w/o any problems!

Well, someone posted in another thread about an Omnia 7 passing through the FTC. It has a CDMA radio in it, although nothing was said about which carrier it is going to, but Verizon and Sprint are the two big CDMA carriers.

Really hoping Sprint does land some new WP7 phones soon. I really like my Arrive, but frankly hardly ever use the physical keyboard so would rather just have one without it.

I had installed the RTM and this update came through on the 27th and updated in place on my VZW Trophy. Been running Mango since a couple days after I picked it up anyway and definitely think I'll be sticking with WP7.

Well I fixed my no-network problem, while *228 didn't work, *22899 fixed it and I was able to upgrade to mango no problem. I just need to get Slacker running in the background.

Finally got the update today. Wow I did not think it would be possible but the OS is even smoother than before. I really love the threads in outlook. We had a go live at work and before threads email was a complete mess because of 20-30 replies to an email. Now with threads each of those emails are neat and organized as possible. I really like the changes to the messaging also. Makes it much easier to read and follow. I tried out the voice txting at the gym and I am in love. Txting at the gym can be a pain with sweaty fingers on my Focus. But now it is a breeze. I still have more to play with and explore. Will put the battery saver to the test at work tonight. As I get no reception and searching for signal over and over kills the battery. Can't wait to update my wifes focus this weekend.

Still finding cool features in this update. They must've either updated the bluetooth or the voice activated controls just work like this, because when a text comes in when I'm in the car it interrupts like a phone call and says who the text is from, gives me the option to read it then reply(text to speech and vice versa) or ignore. All hands free. That's pretty awesome.

I still maintain, other than the lack of apps and wifi tethering, there is nothing more I need this phone to do!

i thought tethering was in this update? can you tether via cable at least?

Tethering is a device and carrier dependent feature. Mango supports it, but you need to have the right radio, and the carrier needs to not be a jerk.

I got a chance to finally do voice texting in my car today over blue tooth radio. It was pretty damn awesome. It was really slick and worked really well. This update keeps on getting better and better.
