Exactly as the summary says...

Ill start it off with a great movie that won sundance for best screenplay one year:

"Living In Oblivion" with Steve Buscemi in it

The Magic Christian - Peter Sellers/Ringo Starr
Bedazzled.....the original one not that Brendon Fraser piece of crap...with Dudley Moore and Peter Cooke

I'll add some old b/w classics that seem to have been lost forever.

Violent Road 1958 (Brian Keith)
Plot Outline: Truck drivers take cargo of explosives over bumpy mountain road.

I've Lived Before 1956 (Jock Mahoney)
Plot Outline: An airline pilot believes that he is a pilot that was killed during World War I

The Red Shoes - Pressburger/Powell's finest film.

Best Boy - Winner of Best Documentary sometime in the 1970s

The Nun's Story - Audrey Hepburn movie

Wait Until Dark - Really suspenseful movie based on a play. Stephen King said the scariest scene in movie history occurs in this film.

Les Diabolique - Most suspenseful movie ever. Period. Hands down. The last five minutes will have you climbing up walls. I had to watch it while pacing back and forth behind my couch. Remade as Diabolique in the US.

The Last of Sheila - A cool whodunit that you can actually play along with. Even the title of the movie is a clue.

Blood Simple - Joel and Ethan Coen's first film. This is a very suspenseful film that manages to keep your attention and lay the groundwork for their future films like Fargo and Miller's Crossing.
