The new version of the Transformers main theme. I don't think it was played in the movie at all, but it's on the soundtrack.

Yes, but just like trailers for a crappy movie that show you all the funny scenes, clips can be deceiving! Although it's mighty hard to deceive someone with that song 😛.

Will you internet marry me? I saw this movie last night and fell asleep. It was so lame. All my friends think it's the best movie ever, but they also think anime is awesome too.

Didn't read through most of this thread yet but saw the movie and it was definitely entertaing!

The special effects were amazing and also set itself up for sequels to come. Megan Fox was incredible. Acting was okay. Some of the actors were put into unrealistic roles. The story was alright but the battles were amazing!

Two thumbs up!
 
I must have seen the original transformers for like more than a 100 times atleast. The new transformers did not please me. The movie was just okay. Too much of Bumble Bee and Optimus wasn't shown like in the original. Optimus was a godly figure for me after watching the original when I was a kid. I dont think the new optimus will have that effect on the new gen kids.

The autobots were always weaker but they always ended up on the winning side. They were always the underdogs and the movie displays this correctly I think.

yeah Optimus was equal to Megatron in the cartoon, comic and first movie. in this one he got his ass kicked.

but i agree with the bumblebee complaint. he was the main star of the movie (though he was cool).

it was a good movie. but i did not expect much at all and got everything i was expecting! lots of action, some good fight scenes and cheesy dialog.


it was worth the $7.50 for the showing and will be worth the $17 to buy the DVD!

Wow.. I paid $11.00 but then again I'm in NYC

at least optimus crushed bonecrusher.. that was an awesome scene

 
Quick Question: There were 3 parts of the movie where that one soldier speaks Spanish. I live in New York City, and I saw the movie with a crowd where at least 50% of the theater were native/bi-lingual Spanish speaking. During those 3 parts, the Spanish-speaking crowd was laughing like crazy. Can anyone translate what the Spanish people were saying.
 
I'm trying to remember. My Friend translated for me

The Part where they are on the helicopter, after the guy says to speak English, he says" You guys are always doing this kind of shit to me" Something like that.

And when the Tower Falls down behind him, and the guy asks what happened, he says 'I don't know, but it almost hit my ass"

This is from memory. Might not accurate as I was enjoying the movie too much.
 
best parts of the movie:

1) police cruiser transforming back into a car in full flight to chase after bumble bee under the overpass... that was a really fluid transition and drew some 'whoa's from the audience.

2) megan fox rising up from behind the chair in sam's room with the parents there - and their subsequent reactions. Two words... ha-ha. Hahahahahaha.

Anyway, it was a Michael Bay action flick... I admit there was a lot of cheesy-ness and whatever else in dialogue / acting (and the secdef shooting a gun?!), but it had entertaining action sequences which is what I came for.

Oh one more thing...
Megan Fox / Transformers = Tea Leoni / Bad Boys
