Because I'm pretty damned sure that whomever owned that one (I'm pretty damn sure it wasn't VW/Bugatti) said "No"

Back when they had a McLaren F1, they didn't track that, either. I don't think they really have much interest in fvcking with the status-quo in the upper-division ultra-supercar arena.

McLaren is from the mid 90's..Bugatti = new.

I have added a fun poll to my OP!

Now, here's a question to get us salivating: What cars would like to see TOP GEAR test this season?

Here is a list I've come up with so far, but I am sure I am missing some new American and Japanese models:

Audi S8
Audi S6
Bentley Continental GTC
BMW Z4 M Roadster / Z4 M Roadster Coupe
BMW 335Ci
Ferrari F430 Challenge
Ferrari FXX
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Koenigsegg CCX
Lamborghini LP640
Lamborghini Gallardo SE
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Lotus Exige S
Porsche 911 Turbo / Porsche 911 GT3

BTW, I voted for "Captain Slow" because 1) He has the smallest ego of the three, and 2) He's a private pilot. Pilots aren't stupid!

Anyone know where I can get a hold of the episode where they test the 6.0 litre Monaro?

Man I love Top Gear, and Hammond is my favorite.

I agree that the cast is what keeps that show together. It wouldn't be nearly as good without them! Did anyone watch junkyard wars? I liked that for the first couple seasons on TLC when it was still very British, then over the seasons it became Americanized and started to suck, so I stopped watching. Can anyone say "DeJa Vu" with this Top Gear spin off?

EDIT: I want to see them test the RS4. If they already did that, my bad I'm still only halfway through season 6 right now.

They already did last season. In fact, it was their "best surprise car" of the year. They loved it.

theyre still not cars that the companies can just give, they are owned by someone rich

plus the F1 was the fastest car in the world, now the bugatti suposedly is....only seems right to compare them, they are both money no object performance cars. and they dont come along very often, and may not come along again

man i cannot wait who the new member is!

Hopefully they just added the new member, not replace one of the casts. The JC-RH-JM combo is perfect!
