***Official Top Chef thread***

I thought about combining this Top Chef thread with the Hell's Kitchen thread but I realize not everybody watches HK and would rather not sort through the HK posts for the TC posts. So here's a head's up.

Season 3 of Top Chef doesn't officially start until June 13th but I was looking at the lineup on TV tonight and saw that there is an All-Stars episode of Top Chef on tonight (10:00 PM ET) that gets us ready for the season premiere a week from today.

Tonight's episode is called '4-Star All-Stars'.

Program description: Culinary competitors from Seasons 1 and 2 gather together for a cook-off. Harold Dieterle, Stephen Asprinio, Tiffani Faison and Dave Martin are pitted against Ilan Hall, Sam Talbot, Elia Aboumrad and Marcel Vigneron. The two teams then serve up their fare to the Season 3 cast.

Will be nice to see Harold, Sam, Stephen, and Tiffani again. It will also be nice to meet the aspiring new chefs for this upcoming season.

ETA - If you miss it, it re-airs again (11:00 PM ET) immediately after the initial showing. It's also Bravo so you know it'll be re-airing a few more times this week. LOL

How to even describe her, what an unbelievable beautiful person, all the way around.

Looks like its going to be a fantastic season...some good talent, and the asian guy can flat out serve it up. Not sure who the winner will be yet, aside from Padma of course.

god shes hot

She's got a 7" scar on her right arm from a very serious car accident as a child.

Didn't stop her from being a top runway model for many years tho. She also wrote an award winning recipe book in '99 for best newcomer, so she's not just blowing smoke being on the show as a pretty face, she's very much into cooking.

Completely disagree based on what the judges tasted and the complexity of ingrediants each chose. How hard is it to grill a chop compared to making a quality risotto.

Judges made a great first choice!

The asian guy, Hung, works with Marcel from season 2.

So I hadn't watched this show once, then yesterday I saw a mini-marathon that aired the firs 6 or 7 episodes or so of this new season.

All I can say now is that I'm HOOKED! Great show and it's full of talent!

And man that chick who is one of the hosts is hot as hell. That Casey chick is hot too.

I'm gonna have to Tivo this wednesdays now and watch it after Rescue Me.

this summer i find myself turning on my Top Chef recordings before Rescue Me

season 2 of Top Chef is damn good as well, btw. probably even more entertaining.
