I am very disappointed that the complete drivel masturbatory exercise in stupidity known as Angels in America won for writing/directing/best miniseries. I understand the acting ones, as the acting was quite good. However, even if you are an excellent actor in a pile of dog crap, it's still in the end a pile of dog crap. It's just sad that this drivel gets to win in the same category that Band of Brothers won...
I was pleasantly surprised by the win for Directing that Deadwood won, but at the same time disappointed it wasn't nominated in more categories.
I can't believe joan of arcadia got nominated for best drama. Would have liked to see something else in that spot. But I guess it's not too surprising considering that west wing keeps getting nominated no matter how much worse it gets.
I wasn't too upset that michael imperlioli won best supporting actor, though brad dourif was more deserving - he is outstanding in deadwood. Same for drea de mateo / robin weigert.
Huge kudos for awarding clone wars something for its brilliance in concept and execution.
