Big 12 North is CRAP this year. Any of the Big 12 teams with the exception of Baylor can beat any of the northern teams with relative ease.

wow, 10 years ago, who would have thought anyone could have ever scored 70 points on Nebraska.

Not to mention Tech felt the need to run up the score. Classless act. It was 56-10, 9:00 left in the 4th, and they leave starters in? Thats BS. NU gave up when it was 42-10, Tech was apparently under the assumption that NU's backup freshman QB (who had never taken a snap before) could lead them to a comeback with the 3rd string RB and the rest of the backups in there. Frankly, I hope Tech gets Karmic retribution for leaving their starters in.

Oh my God, please tell me you are kidding.

Nebraska has been running up the score on teams for YEARS. Now they are getting theirs. They deserve everything that they get. Teams like Texas Tech have been waiting for years to drop a number like this on the Cornhuskers.

Wow...I just got back from the movies and saw the final score.

I know it's a down year for Big Red, but

oh yea, all of the big BCS teams run up the score once in a while. It's always nice to see them get a taste of their own medicine :D.

Nebraska has been going down hill since running hasnt been an option for them, defense was great. Now being handled like little children. Offense sucks because we can't pass, all we can do is try to run so its useless, its like Frank Solich Era all over again.

In all actuality the only team that they really ran up on were the '96 and '97 Oklahoma Sooners (rivals). When you team is run based you really can't "run up" the score.

You must be some sort of retard. There has been a TON of games where Nebraska's starters were done playing at half-time. I dare you to find a game where Nebraska was leading by 28 or more in the 4th quarter and their starters were still playing. Just because Nebraska scored 70 points in a game doesn't mean they were running up the score, its that our second team was THAT GOOD, not because we were leaving starters in. You can't put in 2nd and third stringers in and say "Don't score", but you can call runs up the middle.

In the future, you might want to actually make truthful comments rather than your own misinformed opinion.

I hate the "west coast" offense. This is coming from a BIG Nebraska fan and alumni. Tech's racking up points like it's pinball and the idiot ex-raider coach just looks at his notebook. Was he looking for the magical play that would score 30 points and make Dailey an okay QB? Previous years Nebraska could start the power running game, eating up time and keeping the other offense off the field and out of sync. Callahan is grabbing up blue chip recruits and says our offense will "explode" any time. I wonder if 5-star guys want to play for a team that gets their a$$ handed to them like that. If we still were running our previous offense (with a better Off. Cord.) UNL would have won or at the very least made it close.

TT played very well, nothing to take away from their effort. They need to replace their green carpet and install some field turf ASAP. It knocked out 2 refs and both sides will be sore for days from playing on green painted concrete. The weird thing is Nebraska still has a much better chance of winning the north (K-State, Colorado, Missouri?) than Texas Tech has winning the south.

Gotta watch some pro FB as I'm embaressed to be a Husker fan after a game like that and the way the coach/AD/assistants shrug it off. :(

edit: Nebraska puts (make that past tense) in their backups very early in blowouts. The only thing that Tech did was call a timeout at the end of the 4th on 3rd and long to have more time after the punt. What's worse is that our current coach may be the type to run up the score. I'd rather have 2 extra loses a season than have no class.
