Please State in this thread from experiences from where your Tech Support calls go to possibly when you need help with your computer Equipement.
This thread is to help you in the event that you want to purchase from a Computer company or peripheral and wish to have Tech Support that can help you better because they can actually Understand you as you can them. Also this is to help people choose a company by their tech support from where you may want to support such as US/Canada/Australia/UK. Help keep computer tech jobs in your country.


COMPANY - LOCATION OF TECH SUPPORT

Comcast - US (at least the last time I called)
Compaq/HP - India
DELL - India - Large business support shifting back to US because of problems/complaints
Falcon NW - US
Gateway - US (AFAIK)
IBM - UK/ Ireland
Linksys - India
Netgear - India
Verizon DSL - India

AFAIK the trend is to outsource all the tech support to India and Russia.
