My system has problems with teh demo
running a
E4300 @2.2
Gigabyte DS3
2x1 GB DDR2 667 RAM
x1950 pro
And I can't get over 20-25 FPS no matter what settings I use. They dip down to the teens sometimes. Again, it is the same Framerate whether I have high settings or low settings. Either the demo is a really crappy version or the game is just plain coded badly because there is no reason my computer should not get a higher framerate than that.

I dont know if you can make an official thread if you havent even played it, but...... fvck em.
I love it so far. Not as much as I loved Act Of War, but then again, that game came as a total suprise and Supreme Commander has been highly anticipated for a long time.
SupCom is everything that made Total Anihilation great and then some. You've got your fast early game buildup, good mid game skirmishes and experimenting, and the huge end game wars that everyone loves to watch. And with replays and the really slick zoom feature you can enjoy them over and over from new angles each time. I also think it looks pretty nice even with low quality textures and such, which is needed when you fill the map with units and still want it to be playable.
I am SO glad they didnt sacrifice function to spit out a pretty game with no substance.
Also, if you want this to be the official thread you have to add -=|[/ OFFICIAL \]|=- to the title.
EDIT:
One of the best points of this game is all the things its not. Its an actual strategy game and not a resource war or city manager like most of the other so-called "RTS's".
You actually have to make a war plan and execute it properly, instead of just managing your base really well and executing the exact same buildup over and over through every single game. Its also not overly detailed like most grognard games (which are a lot better example of strategy games anyway). You dont have to manage a dozen different things and worry about a pointless tech-tree or ridiculous economics.
Actually, thats one of the reasons I liked Kingdoms over TA. One less resource and it was easier to manage. You also had four sides instead of two and they were all genuinely different from each other.
Overall, these people make some great games and I highly recommend checking out the demo for those of you who arent sure about dropping 50 bucks.

The framrate issues people are having is strange. My system in my sig was able to run it very well at 1280x1024. Only hitching happened when I scrolled really fast to other corners of the map.

This game is amazing. It's been a while since I've bought a game and only gotten home to regret shelling the money out for it. This game delivers. It truly is Total Annihilation 2.
I only managed to get one screenshot the old fashioned way: Pic
Edit: I managed to find out where it saves the screenshots. I've got 67 of them if anyone is interested. They're all from a 2v2 game that a friend and I played.

What have you done with the UI? Is different than that in the demo.
