Normally I would go for LSU in this game. I honestly think the location might work against them. Notre Dame is going to a place a lot of people want to visit, the Big Easy. That can be perceived as a 'reward'. LSU is just taking a bus to the place they hang out on the weekend.

Yeah, just like how they didn't win the BCS title game in 2004...

I dunno I get a different feeling about non-national title games when you thought you were going to the Rose Bowl...

ND's schedule was a joke, they defeated one decent team & got slaughtered by Michigan & USC. They've been overrated all year, and only the BC$ would have them play in the Sugar Bowl. LSU by 14+ points in what is never a close game.

Wow...just heard that Les Miles suspended 4 players for missing curfew. May not be the entire game though.
This was from ESPN's Mark Schlabach(sp) in a radio interview. He said they are getting ready to put it up online.
LSU has suspended four players for the first quarter of tonight's Sugar Bowl. Two players missed curfew and two violated unspecified team rules.
ESPN.com reported the players are safety strong safety Jessie Daniels, running back/kick returner Trindon Holliday and backup linebackers Perry Riley and Kelvin Sheppard are the four players involved.
LSU athletic director Skip Bertman confirmed the four players were going to miss the first quarter, but he didn't have the names of the players and said they all didn't miss curfew.
"The coach is making a disciplinary statement," Bertman said.
