Btw where's Chuckywang now?

As I've said in other threads, if the Raiders get a QB with their #1 pick, it has to be JaMarcus Russell. He's the most overlooked QB incollege football this year.

No one is disputed his strengt and athletic ability. It is his decision making and ability to think/improvise. Don't take my words on it. Here is one of the many articles:

http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbc...cle?AID=/20070103/SPORTS0202/701030320

And just look at his last throw which ended up in another INT.

I disagree entirely. LSU hasn't had a running game, and thus JeMarcus has had to force some throws. He's stil 3rd in the nation in efficiency, and after tonight he has over 3,000 yard. About 30 TDs to 8 picks. Not bad. Doesn't sound like he's that horrible to me. LSU's lack of a running game kills him.

Today's performance puts him at 28 tds with just 8 ints. He's got plenty to learn sure, but there are few people ever with his natural abilities.

And Mill, it's JaMarcus ;)

Apologies to JaMarcus Russell's family, friends, cats, and dogs.

I don't know...after you listen to him for a while, it just turns into jibberish.

I'm sorry but ND has been over-hyped all season. This game proves that their defense still stinks...

Mill and Syringer - no doubt that Russell is a good QB and will get draft but whether he will be a big time QB in the NFL or not, we will have to wait and see. I think he is more like Vick of the Falcons but with the arm strenght but I could be wrong. LSU two losses this season were not due to the lack of the running game.

I hate to say it since I am a Dolphins fan, but look at the QB of the team who won the most Superbowl in the last few years. Brady never know for his arm or his legs but he play well for his team due to his decision makings.

I hope Russel will become like Williams the QB of the Redkins in the late 80s and early 90s and not just rely on his arm strenght.

and charlie weiss claimed they were starting to own the trenches at the half. ha! ND has owned nothing this whole half. except for maybe the buffet that weiss eats at.

i wouldn't mind the texans taking jamarcus russell in the 2nd round if they pick up adrian peterson in the 1st.

Maybe the LSU team heard it because they totally dominated the line in the 2nd half. Charlie Weis always seems arrogant to me. That just solidified it.

Vick = shortest and fastest QB in the NFL
Russell = biggest QB in NFL, but not very mobile.

He's much more like Byron Leftwich and Daute Culpepper...if you like, 6'4-6'5, 260 lb QBs...laser rocket arms.

LSU has a much better Defense, and ND's D is poor enough that JaMarcus should be able to make many good plays.

LSU 35
ND 14

I was close enough.

15/35 for 148 yards, 2 TD's, and 2 picks. Talk about a crappy way to end a college career.

Good game LSU, if they played at Auburn and Florida like they did tonight, who knows, they could have been undefeated.

I think they are the most talented SEC team. But, as someone mentioned earlier, they're real Jekyll/Hyde. Just ask TN.
