I have been use to the Jets sucking, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well they played.

Go Jets!!
they did play well. i wish they would've won. they SHOULD HAVE!!!

The defense played great. The offense was terrible.
the field goal kicker WAS TERRIBLE! damn him :|
The offense scored THREE TOTAL points.

The Jets secondary played suprisingly well. The Jets could not stop the run though. The Jets didn't deserve to win the game, but they should have won. You do not miss 3 field goals in one game for your team. That is inexcusable.

Actually, the Jets defense was excellent. The Steelers did not win with their offense, they won because their defense held the Jets to 3 points on offense, and the Jets' kicker couldn't hit his FG's.

Well, to be fair NOBODY stopped the Steelers running game all year.

Pittsburgh should thank my Jets for waking them up. NY's secondary is horrible yet Roethlisberger couldn't do anything against them and to make it worse there was no pass rush because Abraham was out.

I went into this game thinking the Steelers were the best team in the league but now I'm thinking its Indy or NE.

Yep, great game. I feel sorry for the Jets kicker.

Don't. Pro sports is over rated. The players are overpaid.

1 post, and you're already proving you're an idiot.

Trying to remember, since you have all those NE sports sigs. I think 1986 Superbowl, Bears 44 Patriots 10. And it really wasn't even that close.

STFU you noob troll...

It was the '85 Bears.
That was 20 years ago.
The Patriots are SB champs and in the playoffs.
The Bears still suck and so do you.
Wow, so much love around here. But back to the facts, I checked, you're wrong. It was the 86 SB.

Credit to the Jets for coming back from 10 - 0 and almost pulling it out in another tough road game. Still, even more credit to the Steelers "D" for holding NY to only 3 points to overcome some horrible play by Ben. Most of my family is from Penn so it was great to see them squeak by.

I didn't think AFC teams play NFC teams in the divisional playoffs. Hmmmm. NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

Pittsburgh didn't deserve to win that game.

Actually neither played exceptionally well, but the Jets should've gotten ONE of those field goals!

Are you serious?

Defense did not allow a touchdown. 3points. Curtis Martain under 80yds, AGAIN. 3 ( almost 4 ) sacks.

Jets are only in the playoffs because the Steelers beat the Bills with backups.

Granted Pittsburgh caught a break, so do other teams.

All in all, tough break for the Jets. But the Steelers are the better team.

Well to be honest I was thinking offense. You're right, holding the Jets to 3 points on offense is pretty darn good. But the Jets SHOULD have won. TWO field goal attempts missed! And the Steelers passing game was nonexistant, plus a couple of key interceptions when the Steelers were on the drive that took the wind right out of their sails.

I meant San Diego. Both Minn and NY were big underdogs and had upsets on the road.

No, you're wrong. The '85 Bears were the *1985* Superbowl Champions. Just because it was played in '86 doesn't mean it's the 1986 Superbowl. Feel free to look on http://www.superbowl.com if you don't believe me. In fact, here's a LINK showing the ticket and ring.

Either way, I wasn't correcting you on the year. I was stating the fact that it was 20 years ago and the Bears haven't done crap since then so to use it to put down the *modern day* Pats team is pretty lame.
