Shit that was quick! LOL
I assume that means you got early access? It seems like (from what I hear) some of the servers are getting slammed and have huge queues, while others are okay. Maybe the people sitting in line for 2 hours on the busy servers are helping reduce the overall load on other servers. 😛
After day one the game is very impressive. It has a lot of great features: aoe looting, tooltips that compare equipped armor, etc. The graphics are growing on me as I get used to the art style. If anyone is on the fence reading this, the game is worth a look even if, like me, you are not a big Star Wars fan.

Hey guys,
While we understand the frustration regarding queues, we ask that your feedback, questions, and comments on this topic be directed to this thread:

Thanks!
I'm only 768th in queue today on Sunday aftternoon, anyway 20th Dec is the real test when we see the rest of the players trying to log in,their official queue issue thread was so long the mods had to start a new thread yesterday, anyway lof of unhappy players about queuing up.
Up to 195 pages already lol....
I had a queue for the fist time last night, was about 12 minutes long. Not a huge whoop.
I'm really torn on whether to go Vanguard or Commando with my Trooper, then I have to choose a tree from there, which looks tough too. Anyone have any thoughts for a guy that will be soloing quite a bit?

Here's a question that has to do with server load. Go ahead and yell but I'll reference EQ again. In EQ, your character had to be logged in to sell things. My understanding is that that's not true in TOR. Also, people liked to just stay logged in and stand around in non combat zones. Show their gear off, receive tells(with audio triggers they can head elsewhere in the house), who knows what.
I wonder if EA has properly estimated for the number of people that will stay logged in even when not playing? Is there even a zone comparable to Plane of Knowledge/Guild Lobby(or Nexus, if your EQ experience goes that far back) on each server where people would congregate to go AFK?
Point being, I wonder if they'll have to split servers down the road.
EA may be keeping server limits below the true hardware cap to force "voluntary" movement/re-balancing.

What server do you play on? I have only gotten a que ONE time???
I am on X'ar Kuhn (spelling?)
Depends, if your companion can heal (don't think it can but not sure) then going tank would probably give you the best solo survivability. If your companion can't heal, then go with commando and be a combat medic. You'll still do decent damage. Healers also seem to be more in demand than tanks for grouping if you want to run a flashpoint or do one of the group quests/chains.
I made the mistake of rolling on what turns out to be one of the busiest, if not the busiest, server (Iron Citadel) and unless you get on early in the morning, you're going to see a queue. I was #701 in the queue last night. :|

Good god. You stuck with a guild or can you switch?
