Official: Star Trek returning to TV in January of 2017

Klingons were supporters of genetic modifications and experimented with it in the past. This is probably yet another genetic modification to further strengthen the race.

as long as they don't retcon their screwup covered in the criminally underrated enterprise episodes where they used augmented human DNA to try and improve klingons. enterprise may have failed in a myriad of way but damn that last season was a thing of beauty!
