That was great. So why do we think Tony broke off his rendezvous with Julianna Margolies - loyalty to Carmela?

Making the right choice for once. I think his discussion with Melfi pretty much explained it. He seems to have found a new respect for her after the way she stood by him after the shooting. I was surprised when he jumped Julianna at first after the scene with Carm buttoning up the shirt he wore to go meet her and even more surprised that for once he actually controlled his impulse.

seriously.........she was flippin hot!

on another note......I'm not happy that the gay agenda has made its way into sopranos. All vitos frolicking with homo firefighters and coming to terms with his gaydom....is down right obnoxious. nobody wants to see that crap, its irrelevant to the story line. I have nothing against someones lifestyle choices but its really getting forced down our throats at every chance......i thought sopranos was one of the last shows that hadnt succumb to this but.....another one bites the dust.

but dude it's fvcking hilarious.

but it is bringing stuff to the table. it's making this beef between phil and tony because Vito works for Tony, yet he married Phil's cousin. As we saw last night, there is tension between the two over Vito, so it definitely has to do w/the story. I think they are showing him become comfortable with his gayness and now that he's getting comfortable and going out with the dude, he's going to slip up and get caught.

Gay agenda? I find it funny that you take offence to a gay character in a show about organized corruption and murder.

BTW, this season has been great IMO. ..some of the best episodes yet.

sorry I don't enjoy watching men flirt, grope and kiss each other for 30% of the episode on a show thats supposed to be about gangsters, corruption and murder.

What bothered you more, Vito making out with the firefighter, or Ralphie beating that stripper to death outside the Bada Bing?

Who here knows that Vito had an unrelated bit part in the first season?

He was a customer in the shop when Chris shot the clerk in the foot.

Irrelevant to my question. Believe it or not, there are gay mobsters (IIRC one of the members of Henry Hill's (of GoodFellas fame) crew was known as "Frankie the i love you."

how was your question relevant to begin with? what are you getting at?

my complaint....why they need to emphasize he's gay week after week for significant amounts of time......I figured it out when he was blowing the security guard at the construction site last season...the show is becoming more about his gay escapades than anything else relevant.

Less gay vito and more meadow FTW.

Being gay is, at this point, his defining characteristic, and a major plotline of the show. You seem to feel the characters should just ignore it, even if that would be totally contrary to everything we know about them, just because it would make you less uncomfortable.
