You just have to go to /etc/ and edit ipkg.conf (or something like that I don't have my pda here). I used vi to edit the conf from console(I am too use to console, I never use x), I've been using pico/joe for years now (I don't like vi much)...
quick tips for using vi, hit "i" to start editing. Ctrl+C for command mode then :wq<enter> to write+quit.
There are 3 lines that are commented out, ie "# src testing http://url" just delete the # from each line, and save it... Then open the package manager again and go to download lists, then you're good to go. Btw helps if you are able to get online tho, try pinging your router from console, or ssh2 to your pda to see if it works... You could just add these by hand inside of the package manager but removing three #s is a lot easier then typing the stuff out on that tiny keyboard, I'd like to know why they were commented out in the first place..
You can also install packages via console, "ipkg install
http://url -d <ram/cf/sd/root>" I've been installing to ram and root, as I don't have a sd card yet (my cf card is filled with mp3s)...
I have noticed with Konqueror that some websites start to load, then all of a sudden Konqueror closes, I enabled logging, and it doesn't tell me anything, anyone figure out why it does this?
