**Official: Sharapova Won The Wimbledon!! Confirmed**

Serena is good but today Sharapova won and played better Tennis. She kept her nerve and got her shots in.

Congrats Sharapova 😎

Serena is not Gozilla. She has dominated Tennis for a while now with her sister.

The problem for Kournikova was that she sucks. She may be a little hotter than Sharapova, but I think the combo of looks and skill will make Sharapova one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, star in sports. I think if Kournikova had ever won a single grand slam she would have skyrocketed to the #1 spot as far as star power goes. I predict Sharapova will be HUGE, along the lines of Michael Jordan.

A wee bit premature to have her as the greatest thing since canned beer, isn't it?

That's what happens when you mix thinking with whacking.

i remember her playing in some exhibition tournament 3 years ago when she was 14 (or maybe it was a big tournament ...) and all i could think was, how can a 14 year old be that tall and that good at tennis?!

cute girl though 😉

along the lines of Michael Jordan

probably not likely. but depending on her maturity and dedication to the
game she may go far. I haven't seen her play yet so i can't fairly say.
I'm not a fan of the womens game so I can't wait to see Federer
out class, out gun and out play Roddick tomorrow. That's going to be a game
to watch.

Can't agree with you more on Federer > Roddick. Roger uses more than half a dozen kids of shots while Roddick only has a strong serve and forehand. Roddick had trouble against Mario Ancic and his game was only a Sampras impersonation. I say Roddick loses in straight sets, but will be tight, probably at least 2 tie breakers.
