I won't argue this.

I thought that Seattle had clear control in the second half. Their offense could have moved the ball better, but their defense played GREAT...it's just that the Bears had SO MUCH help from the referees to keep their drives alive.

The field goal will fall short, into the waiting arms of Devon Hester, who will turn on the after-burners for the victory. Bears by 6, 19-13.

EDIT: Da Bears
I was getting so excited to see if this would come true (just different scores), but I'll take the victory. Still, just means everyone in Chicago is going to have another heart attack next week whether the Bears win or lose.

And BlancoNino, what are you smoking thinking the refs were on the Bears side the whole game. This was probably the most fairly called game all season. If the refs were on the Bears side they would have given them the Hester punt return. So be a man and accept the loss in grace.

Oh and BTW, where was the intentional grounding call on Grossman for that drive? Oh yeah, the Seahawks are playing...

I'm so livid about the calls in this game. Just absolutely terrible. Put an asterisk by the Bears win.

Which play are you talking about. I must have missed it. I saw him scramble and toss the ball out of bounds, but he wasn't in the pocket.

It happened in overtime earlier (I think). He was clearly still in the pocket and just "threw it away". I guess you guys missed it because the anouncers didn't say anything.

Take your whiny-ass, snot-nosed, teary-eyed self, go and pick up your team, and get back to Seattle while you are still allowed to leave. Just a friendly warning.

I have an exceptional eye for good calls. I even make them very often when they're against my team and sometimes I'll even admit that my team had a lot of help from the referees. I'm not biased...this was clearly poor. I've seen nobody refute any of my claims to the bad calls I've mentioned.

Can somebody name a poor call against the Bears? I didn't see any.

Not worth arguing with you about it. Seahawks lose, Bears win. Kthxbye.

I'm glad I don't have to spend another minute in your smelly state of Illinois. The whole place looks like crap and Chicago hasn't done anything to contribute to the United States since Wrigley Gum.

Kindly uninstall Microsoft Windows from your computer and I'll stop chewing gum you garbage face.

well this is the rule:
5. No player of offensive team may charge or move abruptly, after assuming set position, in such manner as to lead defense to believe snap has started. No player of the defensive team within one yard of the line of scrimmage may make an abrupt movement in an attempt to cause the offense to false start.

The reason why no one else bothered to refute Blanco's points is that it's obvious he's just whining because his team lost, not because he has any legitimate gripe. While there were some heartbreakers in the Super Bowl, there were no ref calls that cost Seattle this game. Seattle lost because they got outplayed today, end of story.

lol @ blanco

no calls at all in the first half.... hard to say they lost it because of calls with how few calls there actually were this game....

And yes the announcers mentioned that no one within 30 yards of that one toss away that grossman did.... the refs were almost calling NOTHING this game.... you can go back and see a shitton of missed calls, or ones they just let slide for both teams....

Sorry your season is over, but im sure your eagle eye will keep finding calls better than professionals who are paid to do it for a living.....

I just find it hilarious that people think an entire refereeing body would collude and make bad calls to help one team when it could affect their career.... doesnt make much sense..... and i cant think of many who would pay them to make the one or two bad/missed calls in this game.

Wow, I started an epic thread! ;)

Seriously though, for the most part, this was a pretty clean game in terms of penalties. And for all you Seahawks fans, what about your left tackle jerking his butt up visibly *three* times? False start, what's that...? Go home, get some Starbucks, and cheer on the Saints; they need more bandwagon jumpers :p
