Bears will play a super conservative game............and lose.

Lovie Smith will NOT allow Rex Grossman to do much in fear he will throw an interception so the Bears will be crippled.

I think Chicago will win this one. Grossman had his sh1tty game last game, so he'll be sharp here. (Don't say the Green Bay game isn't important. If you play for the Bears, and can't step up to play the Packers regardless of the season's current circumstnaces, then you're a chump).

Of course, he'll lose the next game with a minus QB rating.

As good as the Bears can be; they still suck. They haven't played against real competition all year; the only good team they faced kicked their asses (New England). Plus, I love seeing Chicago sports fans reintroduced to reality.

and yes...I live in Chicago; so, perhaps I'm a little bitter that every Sunday local broadcasting forces you to watch the Bears by blacking out the AFC game if it happens to be on at the same time.

Chicago is lucky they are playing the Seahawks. Seattle isn't as pash rush/blitz happy as Philly. It at least gives Rex a bit more protection.

I don't care about either team but I think the Bears are going down. Chokeman is going to throw a bunch of interceptions and hand the game to the Seahawks.

BTW-The game is being played at Chicago...not Seattle. If this is going to be an "Official" thread at least get the location of the game right.

I will be at the game, season ticket holder...I'm hoping for a close game...but it all comes down to Rex.

Prediction: A boring, low-scoring game. Not even a true defensive struggle--just two lame offenses. I think Seahawks will win it 10-3.

The game is at a 36.5 over/under while the Indy/Balt game is at a 42 o/u.
So, they are thinking lowscoring with the Bears by more than a TD....
24-14 Bears.

I think the Bears are going to run, run, run the ball. Thomas and Benson are both healthy and ready to go. I am thinking they will pound the gridiron all day with those two (30-40 carries!). I also think the Bears D is really going to step it up and be the winning factor in the game.

Go Bears!

Seahawks 42
Bears 3

Grossman throws 2 picks
Griese throws 4 picks.

Punter comes in as third QB...makes valiant effort to put up one field goal.

The Bears scored the second most points in the league behind only San Diego with a 26.7ppg average. You must not have watched too many Bears games to think they're scoring 3 all of a sudden.

Are the Seahawks big or little Seahawks? If they are little Seahawks, Bears by 3. If the big Seahawks play, Seahawks by 42. Now, if Ditka were there? I'd pick da Bears.

This time around it's not Rex's game to win or lose. It's the defense's game to win or lose. If the Bears D plays strong, I believe they will win. If the Bears D plays poorly like the past 3 games, they will more than likely lose.

And no one else mention this soft Bears schedule crap. *Everyone* in the NFC had a soft schedule. Who did the Seahawks beat that was any good? Let's compare schedules:

Seahawks beat the Giants and the Broncos
Bears beat the Giants and the Jets

Seahawks lost to the Vikings, Cardinals, & *twice* to the 49ers
Bears beat the Vikings twice, the Cardinals, and demolished the 49ers

Oh, but the Seahawks did beat the Raiders this season, I'm sure that's what put the strength of their schedule ahead of the Bears...

The Bears scored the second most points in the league against some of the weakest teams in the NFL. You must not have watched too many Bears games to think they're scoring 3 all of a sudden.

Fixed. Seriously, they are in a very weak division and have had a pretty easy schedule this year. Those numbers are pretty much meaningless. The Bears shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with the best team in the NFL. ;)

I think the score will be higher than that, but i do agree with the boring lower scoring game.
Both teams are not playing great at all....

That said: GO HAWKS GO HAWKS!
