Just completed my 3x24'' setup. Kind of tempted to get a Titan, but not sure yet. :)

It's only restrictive for noobs, anyone who knows what they're doing will void their warranty and get far better control.

Nvidia doesn't want to pay for slider rookies who cook their cards.

Personally I think gimping the OCing on cards is more a marketing thing than anything else, in a bid to keep some lower end cards from snapping at the heels of the high end. I do like to tinker and OC my PC parts (never killed one from OCing), and if nVidia insists on shoving down my throat how they want me use the card, they won't get my business. I watercool my cards and like the fact that I am able to go beyond what aircooling can do with my current AMD card, and my previous nVidia cards. I do my research though, and make sure I stick to safe temps and voltages. I think it's pretty hard to kill cards these days.

Overpriced = sold out

This forum has way too many business school dropouts.

Well products like this always sell out at launch regardless. The PS3 was overpriced as hell and it sold out. According to you and a few others the 7970 was overpriced and that sold out too.

Fact is there isn't a lot of DooKeys and AdamK47s in the world that would buy this part consistently.

Not sure if srs... Even the shitty Ares II sold out LOL
Considering the audience this card is targetted at, I think Nvidia could have gone much higher and still sell out easily

Doesnt change the fact it has one of the worst price/performance ratios in video card history

Very serious.

I agree I think they could have gone higher, but then the backlash from people who aren't getting it would have problem been even greater.

While that might be true, it doesn't change the fact that you could never make the gpu so whatever Nvidia charges for it is their choice and theirs alone.

Very true. Many people buying this card could likely have spent $5,000 on it and not give a damn.

don't see a shit review of g3d.....they are nvidia biased as many other shill paid sites and this how i got banned of that shill site.....
.........amd cards and cpus are clearly ahead in crysis 3 game

i told them these reviews are fake and biased just to make nv cards look great as they done with 7950ghz edition, similar to what they done fc3 bench calling 7970 boost

there is no 7950ghz edition card unless you manually oc it or bios flash....only recent released aftermarket design msi card gives 7950 a highest boost clock of 960 mhz but forum member told me they have done bench with official sku design...what utter bullshit

and hour after this msg pops up-

"You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.
Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

mark the words "No reason was specified"....haha coz you are a shill nvi site as many other...nvidia butt kising reviews for almighty dollars:ninja:

No profanity allowed in the tech forum.

They're probably not aware of the false report of actual frames delivered to the screen by CF.

Just to be clear...you and Keys are sticking with that right?...and you'd bet what little credibility you have left on it yes?

You really should have done a little more research before hanging your hat on that one....:whiste:

I can't speak for keys, or presume I know everything, I'm simply convery what I read as I interpreted it.

This is the same graph with data gathered from our method that omits RUNT frames that only represent pixels under a certain threshold (to be discussed later). Removing the tiny slivers gives us a "perceived frame rate" that differs quite a bit - CrossFire doesn't look faster than a single card.

It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about something, willy.

I guess we'll know soon, he should have a full review of CF vs SLI out this week, stay tuned!

You sound pretty sure of yourself here. And I don't have any idea what you're talking about. Hope you know what you're doing, wouldn't want to damage that credibility of yours. It's precious.

COULD THIS BE IT?

Why is there always one prick that calls results BIAS just because he doesn't like what he sees ? We perform tests, write down the numbers and publish them. That's it.

Results can and always differ per website, different area's tested, different levels, different AA modes, different drivers, different test setups. We try to create an equal playing field for all cards tested but remember, we test based on the latest drivers with a fast platform on the very same SSD cloned OS images. These are the results but sure, always look at the results as an indication.

yes i have account in anand(and generally talked to some members in this site (even an old member(2008 miswrite it to 2003) of anand told me not to take heed on g3d and then some heated words exchanged whatever)) and forced to open account in guru3d to comment on their evergoing blemished bench........

hell yeah banned me guru3d for speaking straightforward and then again always keep nvi on top and looks greater by comparing non existent 7950 ghz edition with ref 660 ti and looks 7970 biting dust as you called 7970 boost in fc3 bench...wth is 7970 boost??!!:twisted:keep on going-money is everything is't it...it's expected you will ban me

"Why is there always one prick that calls results BIAS just because he doesn't like what he sees ? We perform tests, write down the numbers and publish them. That's it."--so much of polish talk-smooth talkers-guess it's hard to understand where your thick paycheck comes doing revs...you revs sites definitely don't want to be blacklisted like hardware secrets couple of years ago and then again mutual mitigation happened with nv after that internal dispute....guess it's that hard to understand!!! and whatever back-hand politics many of which will remain unknown to us...why the hell revolt when cash flowing in doing revs and whatever-just kiss ass it's that easy job and monthly paycheck

just an example why games like cod always gets 9+ from ign(hey is't activision has most money in their pocket???:whiste:

souv, you are really derailing this thread. Let's just discuss the merits of the GTX Titan please.

Perhaps you'd like to start a new thread on which review sites are conducting the most unbiased benchmarking.

Titan did push me towards buying a 7950. Seriously. After seeing what a poor value it is and seeing the 7970 not far behind for $600 less I was convinced about buying a 7 series card. A little research and went with a voltage unlocked 7950 and free games.
