i don't know if i should or not. the battery died on my motherboard, and i stupidly pulled it out and left it out for a few days.

now after a win2k reinstall, i'm still fuxored and my battery is STILL wrong.

i'd like another HD though but i don't have the money for it.

I'm waiting till I get a new mobo to upgrade my crappy kt266 (non A) board. Just need the $$$$$$. 🙁 I'm not gonna play with pre-installing the chipset drivers and all that crap.

Nope. Dropped XP and went back to 2k over a month ago. So nice to use an OS that doesn't crash like mad.

Amen, and good move. I will never use WinXP unless forced through electric shock or with hot chicks dangling in front of me. Maybe not even then.

IfXP is crashing for you, its because your hardware is faulty, or your drivers are faulty.

Wrong.

You're right, it is..... compared to Win95, Win98, and WinME. Win2k crushes WinXP.

Sorry Mr. Gates, but XP is an extremely stable OS. Surprised you didn't know this.

The Missus will be out at a theatrical production this evening so I think I will join in and format tonight instead. (ORN +1).

Since i've been using XP (which has been since it came out), it has probably crashed at the most 5 times. MY friend who has 2000, on the other hand...well let's just say I was not impressed with 2000 at all.

was going to reformat last night, but lost my disc gonna try and dig it up today. . . Actually I'm already reformatted, just waiting to reinstall.
