rumor has it that he(Beckham) had fever before the game. I'm pretty sure he would never ever go to Real Madrid.

Barthez IS NOT SUCK!!!!! Great game, Man Utd showed they can mix it with Real, but Real seem to buy their way out of everything so:p

Beckham had a point to prove, not sure if he would have played so fiercly had he started. Ruud played well too. Giggs...getting on a bit now.

If you watch any league games, Beckham's form hasn't been too great recently. I don't deny he played brilliantly today. Veron is also class. Man Utd will be there again in a few seasons, just need to bolster some parts of the team.

I think that 2003 is turning out to be a great year for portuguese football :)

- The Top 2 portuguese players have advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League (Figo and Rui Costa, btw) :)

- Two of our best teams (FC Porto and Boavista) will try to pass their semifinal matches to play in the UEFA Cup final :)

and all of this one year after a very disapointing WC 2002 and one year before the UEFA's Euro Championship...

Where Wales will beat you:) Yeah, in truth, Portuguese football is coming on superbly. What's happened to Nuno Gomes?

I was very impressed to see FC Porto kick Lazio's ass 4-1. Tomorrow's second leg will be awesome.

And now, my friends, we have just witnessed the highlight European club match until next year's Champions League.

I am very doubtful that Real Madrid vs. an Italian team, or an Italian team vs. another Italian team will be ANYWHERE NEAR the level of this match.

As far as most fans were concerned, the two matches of Real Madrid vs. Man U was as good as it could get.

what a bittersweet victory. good game for Man U.

i dislike Man U with a passion, as they are 3 points ahead of Arsenal, but.. I would love to see Real lose just to rub it in my Ronaldo-loving friends' face..

He's playing in SL Benfica.

You'll see him in next year's Champions League :)

EDIT: dream on, no way Wales will ever beat the Portuguese National Team :p

I made a DVD with the match so I can show my nephews probably the best game I ever saw Porto play in :)
