I'm surprised they have been able to use the "they shouldn't be there" card this long. They are good. They were good all season. They can play hard in the clutch games. They did beat KU and Kentucky this year. I know both wins were at home, but they performed.

I'm with you but some journalists keep dogging them. Sporting News guy picked them as 16 out of 16 of all sweet 16 teams. The odds-makers had them as the longest odds to win the region once it was down to the 4 remaining teams, etc. I imagine in these situations you latch on anything you can in order to motivate as much as possible.

I hope either Baylor or WVU can pull another win this weekend. I'm usually all for lower seeds, but I want to see K State vs Baylor or WVU in the final. :p

What is it about Izzo? He's always money in the tourney!!

I heard some stat the other day but could be getting it wrong here... I hope an MSU fan corrects me!

Apparently any player under Izzo who has stayed for 4-years has made a Final 4?

That was true as of last year. I was in Florida listening on the radio and the ESPN guys said that. That's an amazing stat.

That game moved me from 31 to 16 in the standings just like that (original pickem, not the 2nd chance).

Sweet, good call.

What a great team to watch...surprisingly talented and amazingly well coached for such a young guy.

I remember a few years ago that Mack wanted to go to UK. UK snubbed him and look at him now. He's from Lexington's Bryan Station high school.

sad here...sad. All the props to Butler. State did not deserve that game. looked like the same game they played against Iowa State at the end of the season. Still EMAW! Proudof the KState wildcats, for an everyman team they did pretty good. Good for Butler, much luck in Indy!

Nice time for some revenge! It's going to take a helluva effort for Butler to knock them off (and I'm pretty much giving WV zero chance of taking them out today.)

Sorry to KSU fans. I should have cheered for Butler and KSU would have won. Sorry, but Baylor and WVU are now doomed as well. :(

WVU up at the half by 2!! Obama was right, this would be the best game of the tourney. ;)

UK can't hit sht from the arc and I hope they keep shooting it. Playing right into the hands of Huggy Bear. LET'S GO, MOUNTAINEERS.

What a lackluster game. Kentucky's only real weakness is their youth and that weakness is being exploited in a major way by wv. I'm gonna hear john denver all week now.

Going 0-20 at the 3pt line is never going to help...

/edit: they finally hit one, lol
