Holt is the best receiver of the three, and he's leaps and bounds above Moss who has decent hands and speed and that's it. His routes are only average, and he will never win a jump ball in his life.

Lol while i respect your bias, i would definitely say that it is vice versa.
OK, but let me make two points - again, taking in consideration that I'm biased:

#1 Holt is still the better receiver. He's been doing it for longer, and has a SB ring (and another appearance) to prove it.

#2 To single them out like they're a step above Holt is ridiculous. Even if I grant that they're good (and I'll give Smith all kinds of props for being an amazing receiver, but all Moss really does is run faster than everyone else), singling them out above Torry Holt is ridiculous.

Are you just bitter? Hasselbeck played against Moss and Smith in the playoff, so that's why he was complimenting their game. If the Rams get into the playoff instead of the Redskins, Hasselbeck would leave out Moss as well probably.

Vick would've definately deserved to be in the Pro Bowl if he played the Rams more often... he runs all over you guys.

Sore loser? He surely didnt sound like one when I heard him talk with a reporter during the pro bowl.

Steve Smith was unstoppable this year, plus he led his team deep in the playoffs. Did the Rams even make it?

Granted...he has enormous amount of experience. But i like the others better for skill (by no means am i implying that he doesn't have talent...because he does)

There are some passes Moss catches that ihave never been able to understand.

I think you are confused. Holt is more skilled, but Moss and Smith have more potential and are talented physically.

Then you wouldn't known that Moss is listed at 5'10 and Smith is listed at 5'9" =p

Do you know something I don't? Last time I checked, a receiver does not have the ability to catch a ball that is not thrown to him, especially if he is not in the game. A receiver does not choke unless he drops balls when he should have caught them and that is exactly the thing that Holt is known for NOT doing.

And the Royals make everyone look like a Hall of Fame candidate. That doesn't mean they are.

If you can't see that Vick's a pathetic QB, I can't help you.

Did you see the quote? Him playing against them had nothing to do with his comments, it was all about playing with them this week. And if he's just complimenting people on good games, surely he can remember the three stellar games he played against the Rams last year when we beat them - twice in their own house.

Then again, maybe he blocked those out.

I agree that Smith was amazing this year, but given that Holt has put up incredible numbers for years now, it's ridiculous not to give him his due. Both of them are leaps and bounds above Moss, and he got mentioned above Holt.

If you're going to actually try to make that argument, you'd better try harder than that. That averages out to 4.7 catches for 63 yards and less than 1 TD per game. Not stellar, but not what I would consider "choking."

Give me a break. Prove it. I'd like to know two things: who is your favorite team, and how many people have ever agreed with you on that statement. I frequent all the Rams' message boards, and they are CONSTANTLY knocking players. Never once have I heard this from anyone. I haven't even heard that from my numerous friends that hate the Rams that are just dying to talk trash about them.

Maybe you should stop acting like you know anything about the NFL. I am a Panthers fan, but sh!t, look what happened in the NFC champion ship game. Smith was SHUTDOWN.

Steve Smith 7 playoff games

45 catches
739 yards
6 touchdowns 7 if you count rushing stats.

Who else did Seattle have to shutdown on the Panthers anyways?

So you agree that he got shutdown in the championship game..that be was a non-factor...that he couldn't get open to catch passes. Thanks.

Oh, and the Rams also have Bruce and during those playoff games he was a very integral part of the offense, therefore Holt was not thrown to as often as Smith was. Remember, the 2nd receiver for the Panthers was Proehl...not quite the same situation that St. Louis was in.

I don't know why you like Smith so much that it is clouding your mind, but you need to give it up.
