Ok, i know i know... Ive already posted one or two threads about this, but its coming down to it now and ive finally narrowed it down to two (RMIT was a bust)... My advisor is getting back to me in a few days about the final specifics of each of these programs (i.e. if the dates will coordinate with our scheduele down here at UF) but it looks like either program should work fine....

And the two choices are:

Hogeschool van Utrecht - Utrecht, Netherlands

+ Very good (well respected) business school
+ All classes are taught in english and most people there speak it very well
+ Interesting Dutch Culture and History (Pictures)
+ Not to far from other european cities (Amsterdam, Antwerpen, etc...)
+ Nice weather
- (Nothing that i can think of)

Uppsala University - Uppsala, Sweden

+ Another well respected school
+ All classes are taught in english and most people there speak it very well
+ Beautiful country & cities (Pictures)
+ Close proximity to Stockholm
+ Swedish chicks 🙂
- Weather (Uppsala in winter)
- Daylight (18 hours of sunlight in the summer, 4-5 hours of sunlight in the winter) <--- Its basically at the same lattitude as Alaska

If anyone has been to either of these cities (or countries) please let me know what you think. Or if you just want to reccomend a place to go, go right ahead... Thanks for your time! 😀

A guy in my band has lived in the Netherlands and visited Sweeden (along with other European tours). He says that, next to England, the Netherlands is one of the best places in the world to live 🙂

I like to study abroad wherever I can find one.

Seriously I say go with Hogeschool van Utrecht - Utrecht, Netherlands I just think it looks better

Tough call, both countries have some great people.

I'd have to go with Netherlands though, unless you ski, and can stand the short day-light span in the winter.

Isn't weed legal in Amsterdam? Isn't Amsterdam in the Netherlands? Do you smoke? If you don't, it probably won't matter to you.

Its legal in coffee shops... and no, i dont smoke (not saying i wouldnt though when i got there) For me though, its not much of a deciding factor...

As for skiing, i havent done that in years but wouldnt mind taking it up again...

Im really tossed up as to which place i would rather go...

Thanks for all the responses thus far. 🙂

<< haha...looks like the poll isn't helping much either...10-9 huh? 😀 >>

11-9 now... haha still not too distinct 😀

I voted for Uppsala since that's the one I recommended to him. I hope you like winter weather since winter lasts about half of the year. But the Swedish chicks will make everything worthwhile 🙂

<< Can you take English I as a foregin language? >>

Hahahaha... Somehow i dont see the business department here at UF signing off on that one 😀

<< haha...still no clear winner. 😀 gonna make it a harder choice aphex, or an easier one? 😛 >>

harder 🙂
