But I do have a couple of gripes. First, is there any option to disable the autoplay feature when powering on the console? In other words, if there is a game in the BR drive I don't want it to be started automatically when I turn on the console. The 360 was like this when it launched, but they later added an option to disable autoplay.

If you hold the right or left button as the ps3 loads to the XMB it will move the cursor away from the game so it won't load.

Also, if you have multiple accounts on the ps3 it will ask you to first choose a user account thus not autoplaying whatever is in the disc drive.

When you say hold the Left of Right buttons are you talking about the shoulder buttons, if so, which ones?

It seems like some prominent PS2 games look like crap on PS3 due to scaler problem.

Of course, Sony is too arrogant to admit such flaw. They are telling their customers that "it's the TV," including to those who has flagship Sony HDTVs.

New firmware imminent. Supposedly fixes some backward compatibility problems.

BTW, I tried Resistance demo last night, and the control just BLOWS! How the hell can people play like this? It's almost impossible to aim at distant targets.

What's wrong with the controls? The game controls like every other console FPS on the market. Now if you are referring to the analog sticks in general I can somewhat agree. The analog sticks on Sony controllers are too loose... they have always been this way going back to the original Dual Shock. When I first started playing RFoM I had a hard time controlling my aim, but I adjusted pretty quickly.
